#737Um...... There is no difference between Romney or Obama. Obama Care was derived from Romney Care thus the name "Obamney Care".
They are both Establishment Puppets. It is a controlled paradigm. The 2 parties use each other to prop each other up. The 2 parties work for the .01%. It is a rigged game. Just like a Don King boxing match where he owns both fighters. So it does NOT matter which boxer wins because he owns them both. This formula is also used in other Countries. England for example has the Labour & Tory parties. I guess I'll have to post this once again. The sooner we all wake up. Then the sooner we will all have are standard of living rise (actually sky rocket).

Reagan's plan was actually the frame work of John F Kennedy's plan and it too was supported by many democrats to the point where Reagan won the biggest landslide election in US history. Democrats controlled congress during a majority of the Reagan years maybe not so oddly enough.
Your comments are more evidence just how hard it is to engage liberals on how to bring down the $17 trillion dollar debt. You're idea for a substance idea is to say you didnt complain when Reagan ran up a debt. Buddy's engagement was to work out the math on what percentage of democrats voted for the use of force in Iraq. Obama acts the same, doesn't have a word to say about it.
If I didnt know any better I would almost think the liberal wing has no clue how stop the bleeding and certainly no plan for it.Comment -

This is an across-the-board problem. There is no blue or red when it comes to today's deficit. It's rooted a lot deeper than blaming one party or the other. I just wish Americans would see that, instead of arguing with each other like this as the store's being robbed by every politician. Don't you see, John -- getting into pissing matches and pointing figures is what our government wants us to do. It's the ultimate red herring.Comment -

I don't remember you being so vocal about stopping the bleeding when W added 7 trillion to the deficit. Maybe you were. My memory is embarrassingly bad these days. I will likely be hiding my Easter eggs this year.
But,It's hard to be passive when "your". President cost this country 7 trillion and thousands of soldiers lives and then hop on the soap box and criticize the D president at every turn.

Honestly I didn't read it lol, I just saw you wrote more than a few sentences and knew it was going to be one of you uneducated rants again. I read this one cause top of the page and you quoted it haha. Blaming USPS debt( the epitome of what liberals get you) on republicans, just be quiet.
Anyways, you liberals are so ignorant. Arguing about the deficit as if it is a justification for the complete and utter failure you supported known as Obama... the republicans have 0 accountability for ruining healthcare and creating a nation of lazy people. Grow the penetrate up and accept it.
I wonder if anyone here even knows any of the multiple quotes(and examples) said(and used) throughout history about using access to healthcare to control citizens. Congratulations obama supporters.Last edited by brooks85; 11-14-13, 10:47 AM.Comment -

Romneycare was nothing like obamacare. There is a reason why romneycare worked, the same reason why romney had one of the worst job creation rates(if not the worst) in the nation amongst governors. Liberals just kind of forgot that he was governor of MASSACHUSETTS, not some shit state like California.Comment -

Both plans are masquerading as a benefit to the people when in realty the plans are TO BENIFIT INSURANCE CORPORATIONS EVEN FURTHER.....
So there you have it, the people have no one to represent them on either side of the aisle..................
But the people will still vote for R or D,so in reality the people have nobody to blame but themselves.......Comment -

#746i hate to break it to ya ya fukin nitwit but in 2006 the Republicans snuck a poison pill in a bill that made the UPS fund benefits 75 years in advance. No company in the world is held to those standards. That is the reason the Postal service is struggling. They did this to break the back of the union and no other reason. Look it up ya jackass instead of spouting off how stupid others are. Again u are in a union but vote Republican. That about sums it up. It is like someone who is against abortion and loves guns voting democrat. Now sit down clown because ya have been just slapped down.Comment -

Instead of me pointing it out, lets see if you can find the info that makes you look like an idiot again. Everything you said just clearly shows why you're a worthless voter, you voted based on affiliations and stereotypes bill maher taught you, not what is logical. That is why you and other idiots don't support right-to-work laws and guys like me have to pay for it. Of course, you don't even know what right-to-work is. How could you? There is not a single logical person, republican ordemocrat, that would be against right-to-work unless they had something to lose just like the unions.Last edited by brooks85; 11-20-13, 07:56 PM.Comment -

Congress, in a 2006 law, required the Postal Service to make annual payments to fund 75 years' worth of future retiree health benefits in 10 years. So far, the agency has paid more than $21 billion into a special fund for these obligations.
Congress allowed the Postal Service to delay the $5.5 billion payment in 2011. Postmaster General Patrick Donahoe has said the agency will not be able to make its payment in 2012.
Critics of the requirement say most of the agency's $25 billion in losses in the past five years was due to the payments. A bill in the Senate would spread the payments over a longer time, though many lawmakers want to end the prefunding.Comment -

#753I think he was making the obvious point that you and the GOP only want to talk about stopping the bleeding when it's a Dem in the WH.

The amount of debt Bush racked up relative to our GDP did not put us in a red line situation. Obama's did and he is adding to it. Lets knock off a few zeros and look at it. If you rake in $25k and rack uo $60k in debt thats bad. Thats what Bush did. Obama instead of fixing it added another $110k of debt and now we have the same $25k in income but $170k in debt.
So you can play partisan politics and quote the tattoo on Obama's back that it was all Bush's fault or be honest and admit we have a horrible problem that we need to fix. Greece, Ireland, Cypress, Spain buckled under their debt and social spending was cut severely even as unemployment soared to 30%. Is this what you Obama guys want?Comment -

#754For 10 points, what right wing lunatic said the following?
“A tax cut means higher family income and higher business profits and a balanced federal budget. Every taxpayer and his family will have more money left over after taxes for a new car, a new home, new conveniences, education and investment. Every businessman can keep a higher percentage of his profits in his cash register or put it to work expanding or improving his business, and as the national income grows, the federal government will ultimately end up with more revenues.”Comment -

#757You guys are calling John Kennedy a right wing wacko??? (has to be Bush's fault)
JFK and Reagan were right. The US government needs to generate far more income to fund social programs their representatives keep passing. If the US would drop business tax rates to 10% and eliminate all deductions the US could run the table on economic growth. Jobs would soar and wages would go higher. You wouldn't need food stamps and unemployment payments. Young people would have enormous opportunity even without a college education.
The US now has the highest tax rates in the first world. We can't compete. It sucks the investment and working capitol out of the economy. We could actually become an economic powerhouse and bring prosperity and the American dream back if we can ever come together and follow the plans of Joh F Kennedy and Ronald Reagan.Comment -

#758I don't have a correlation graph, but I'm willing to bet the jobs lost in '08 have not been regained in the 5
years under 'bama. I'd be willing to bet our unemployment is in the double digits also. 7.2% is fudged.
So, saying tax cuts will do all what that person said didn't figure in millions unemployed. When millions
are unemployed/ underemployed and the govt still spends at the same rate, the debt goes up plain and simple.
If 'bama came in and raised the tax rate, he would've been thrown out on his ear. Saying it's his fault is bull.
Look, I didn't vote for 'bama either time, but at least him and the Senate are trying to do something.
The Repub controlled House hasn't done ANYTHING to get this country back on track.Comment -

He brought loved ones home, had the world's foremost terror agent captured and killed all while spearheading the ongoing movement to disarm its rising remnants in Isis/Isil. #770Disarming ISIL?
"We're bombing the guns that we didn't mean to give to ISIS because we didn't give guns to their enemies because then ISIS might get guns."
One brain boggling sentence from a Vox article sums up our current boondoggle in Iraq.
When Obama first announced U.S. airstrikes in Iraq, he failed to mention that the U.S. would, in the process, destroy millions of dollars of American military equipment.
We have a hunch he left that part out for a reason.
Allow me to explain…
From 2003-2013, the US military spent a ton training the Iraqi army in combat. They also armed them to the teeth with guns, tanks, jeeps, artillery, and more.
This was an army, you'll recall, the military just finished destroying in the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq.
Morale, we're sure, was at an all-time low.
It shouldn't have been a surprise, then, when all that training and team spirit-building weaponry ended up in vain. When ISIS invaded northern Iraq from Syria in June, Iraqi forces barely shot a shell. They immediately deserted or retreated, abandoning the millions of dollars of American equipment.
Ironically, these abandoned weapons were much better than those the U.S. refused to give Syrian rebels months earlier. The U.S. military didn't want them to fall into the wrong hands… namely the hands of ISIS.
Instead, the ever-brilliant government planners simply put all their chickens in one coop -- in Iraq. And handed ISIS the ranch.
And after the Iraqis fled, ISIS scooped up all the high-tech American toys and used them to seize cities in Iraq and terrorize its citizens. It also allowed them to plunder hundreds of millions from captured banks…
Making them the richest terror organization on Earth.Comment
