It's a good argument Dane, but everyone has to read the entire article to actually to understand the headline, because the number in the headline in no way represents the numbers in the article referring specifically to women, just overall numbers on likely voters across all issues within sampling error standard deviation.
For instance from that article "Among female likely voters, 55 percent say Obama would make the right decisions on women's issues, compared with 41 percent who think Romney would." But also same article, "A month ago, women favored Obama over Romney on the economy 56 percent to 40 percent. Now, the split has shifted to 49 percent for Romney and 45 percent for Obama."
So according to your article I will concede it will not be a landslide as Romney has gained some ground on certain issues regarding women, but I do believe matters of utmost importance to females specifically (personal health, abortion, etc..) will most likely take precedence over other issues and sway their votes to Obama. Thank you though for actually giving a good example for an argument though, it's refreshing there's a few Romney supporters on here that actually try to do some reading on the matter and formulate decent opinions, and not just respond "you liberal hippie". Good on ya man.

Mitt did give a lot to charity, but lets examine the facts. He was on the ticket to run for a possible presidential candidacy and knew the good publicity it would provide. On the whole, wealthy individuals give far less to charity as a percentage of their income than middle to lower class people, that's a mathematical fact.
You have to take into account motivation. Mitt Romney over the last 2 years has donated $4 million dollars to charity, which is a little less than 10% of his income for those two years. Great news right, a very philanthropic individual? Consider that from 2002-2009 he only donated $5.8 million with an income during those years totaling about $100 million. Now why would he effectively double his charitable contributions in such a short amount of time? From a realistic standpoint, he began campaigning in 2010 to seek a bid for President.
It's great that he gives to charity, but let's not paint him as a saint please. The majority of American citizens making in excess of $10 million dollars a year, donate exactly how much they need to for maximized tax benefit to balance out their capital gains, and not a penny more.Comment -
