Beckett is chomping at the bit to put his injury-riddled 2010 behind him, and following the Sox' flameout in Texas, he gets to fill the stopper role he loves. His spring wasn't great but his velocity was fine and in his final tuneup he was sharp. The Tribe have not done much against him in the past either.

Sox lineup should be too much for Tomlin and his pen. Yes, the whole Sox team got outplayed in Texas, but the Tribe is a different animal altogether.

ML is solid and I think some RL is in order too. Let's make some coin here.

People are underestimating Beckett. He's not what he used to be but his velocity has been consistent and he's hitting his spots. 7 innings 2 runs imo. Oh and Tomlin had a deceiving era this spring if that's what you people are looking at. He didn't walk many but gave up a TON of hits and doesn't change speeds from his already unimpressive 90mph. The sox probably win it about 8-2 and the line movement supports that.
