Social Security is not discretionary spending it is MANDATORY spending.

People pay into social security they are entitled to it. It is their money. It is not your money. That is why it is called an entitlement.

SS has a 2.6 trillion surplus, our government borrowed that money to pay for tax cuts for billionaires and war. Not my problem.



Where was the outrage for deficits when we were going to war? Who said deficits don't matter? Who LIED to us and said we could pay for war with tax cuts?
