This has been a decades in the making plan by the NRA and nefarious forces who fund their "political action" side.
They weaken gun laws to make accountability of who owns what and how many are in existence, so that guns can be funneled into cities - where a more variety of ethnicities live - and then as crime grows - most mayors are left powerless to try and control anything because of bureaucratic shenanigans from state governors, or state AG's, and the state legislatures, and up to the federal government.
And the whole point is to erode the big cities and make country folk feel nice and comfy about themselves.
I've been hearing the same nonsense for yrs from past on great grandparents, or grandparents, great uncles and aunts, uncles, old neighbors, and even old friends and HS classmates - about how they don't go to the city because of all the "crime."
So that leads to "At what point was the big ole city some crimeless utopia?" I heard it all my life from people who say they don't go there because of all the "crime."
And yet, the same people(well, not the dead ones) regurgitate the same tropes about [waves finger in the air][pounds chest]"I remember the good ole days of the city!"
When mudder fooker?! When?! It's one or the g*d da#n other!
And that's my point. It's all by design. And designed to create a disgust for the big cities. Makes simple country folk feel all cozy and warm about their bigoted selves.
IDGAF! Tear it all down.
Total anarchy.
Destroy the whole BS financial markets. Crash the stock market. Default on all US gov bills/notes/bonds. Pension funds crumble.
Mass hysteria and chaos in the streets. Lose at minimum half the population.
Infrastructure and manufacturing in shambles.
Surely the national security of the Country won't suffer?
I mean, come on...I'm constantly told that all the Jimbo's and Jethro's out in the sticks have watched Red Dawn enough times that they can take on the Russian AND Chinese military on their own. They'll MacGyver their way to victory.
And how did we get here? Because a half black educated man became President and for 8 yrs a narcissistic, fake billionaire, petulant man-child ranted on twitter about him, all while growing a newfound fanbase.
The f*#k your feelings crowd sure luv to preach the Mind Your Own Business mantra, all while twisting every thing they don't like, whether it be certain ethnicities, religions, level of education, etc. into some form of an attack on THEM.
It's constantly framed that way. That THEY'RE the ones being attacked. Just by accepting and assimilating to the world around themselves it's framed as they are the victim in all of this.
It's not new. It's just been amplified in the internet age, and social media era.
