Reading some articles related to the FBI/Sheriff video (the 2nd video), this all started with the FBI investigating why a ticket issued to a prominent business women was dismissed (hit and run). The sheriff is very close friends with the women who was issued the ticket. She called the Sheriff complaining about the ticket, the sheriff pulled the ticket, and it all went quietly away. Never made the public record...

The FBI agent in the video was investigating corruption in northern Florida law enforcement and called the deputy who issued the ticket to question him. The deputy in the video with the body camera rolling is the guy the agent was going to talk to.

The State Attorney later indicated the manner in which the ticket was handled was inappropriate (actually it was illegal according to existing Florida law).

As is normlly the case, you have to be careful if you have a run-in with backasswards country sheriff departments. They are more corrupt than politicians.

Here's two articles on the incident.
