Sorry Optional, I was not referencing you at all. I was thinking of JJGold when I wrote that. You are the audience of my post as I truly believe you are the only one that can help mediate this situation. I am coming out of the shadows of gambling mediocrity to share my story and ending a 15+ year relationship with this book. I am a EV type of person, getting 1.7k stolen out of my account is -EV and losing this book which was my favorite book, -EV. Truthfully, it is more EV to pretend this didn't happen and give what they offer. But I would not be able to live with myself if I did. I hope that you can help me and/or the book come to light and resolve this issue. If you can help this, I would still like the book but not love the book as EV is more important than feelings.
Sorry about all the preamble, I am a cynical sort and sort of figured I would have to prove my case here before anyone would take me seriously.
What has happened is that someone has got my userid/password and bet into my account and drained my balance. I have sent them physical evidence such as what happens when you login, and as you can see from the forum thread I started earlier today. I would have to believe this would put my userid/password in jeopardy. They have flat out rejected and not replied to any of the questions to the security issues. In addition, I have a second account that they promised that they would not steal so I had been betting it today and have similar concerns about my userid/pw so this is an issue imo. (Meaning I get the same unsecured page and even on the betting pages which I would believe my password is vulnerable) Imo if it happened once, it will happen again. The way they have handled it and treated me imo is not right as well.
I am an extremely private individual and if this security breach can happen to me, then it can happen to anyone. They have flat out rejected it and blamed me for my password being used such as I had typed it on someone's phone. I have never logged into their mobile platform.
Then they used the VPN rule they put in their rules (as a long time customer, did they even tell me?) to say that because I have used a VPN they cannot tell anything so again it is my fault. And that was the end of that.
