Baseball manager is the easiest coaching job in pro sports. You don't even need to draw up plays. All you have to do is put your best pieces in the game.
When it's a sudden death situation (meaning you give up a run, and you lose) - that necessitates pitching your best pitchers until you run out of them. If anything, Britton should have been used starting in the bottom of the 9th. Again, sudden death - use your best guys and work backwards.
The problem with these idiots is that they never manage this way in the regular season. They always wait for save situations that might never come, and their closers end up not getting used in road games that are tied in extra innings.
