As best we can tell, it uses the seed based system to access your wallet and backup your addresses, and takes away the need to backup each address and private key. Not sure if this format is compatible with importing individual addresses into other bitcoin wallets like you are able to do with the old interface.Originally Posted by BoKnowsBest
