Wrong Bear, there is more to winning at gambling than picking winners. Money management is just one other aspect required to profit long term.
And Bear, if you consider juice the vigorish, and not just "laying odds," then winners always pay the juice, losers just lose their bet, never paying juice. Spreading the idea that there is no commission to winners is one reason why there are so many losers. This isn't a matter of perception, this is basic, fundamental gambling.
It's not what bettors know that hurts them, it's that what they know is often so wrong.
Winners pay the vigorish, losers lose what they risked, their bet, and no more.
