I guess I am able to see past the "this is a guarentee" and "this is a lock" bull crap. I think we all know there is no such thing, if you dont and take these comments literally then you are in the wrong field. When I see this crap, I look at it as the poster is being confident and trying to have the attitude that he already won. Having a confident and positive attitude is great thing when capping. However when people bring out the bravado, and give no explanation other than "this is a lock", then yes, you are right, they deserve to be called out.

But, this is not the case here. The OP gave a very detailed explanation on why he was confident in this play. You may or may not have agreed with it, but the fact that he gave a detailed write up and was willing to put his name and rep on the line warrents some level of respect, whether you agree with it or not. Therefor, imo, to call him out after the game is over is one of the worst breaches of etiquette in sport betting. If you think he is wrong, say it pregame. When we start calling out posters every time they feel confident on a pick and it loses, we get a forum full of trolls, which is quickly what this site is becoming, if it isnt already there. I want to open up players talk and see detailed write ups like this one every day, but these posts are few and far between. If you can get past the ego and cockiness of the OP, theres a lot of good points he made. I guess Im able to see past the ego and find the worthwhile points made, which there are a lot of.

And to the people who post "locks" or "guarentees", and give no explanation... its not even worth my time to respond. I sweep that right under the rug...
