I like the rank and file bettors in SBR, they have great info. But I have an MBA in business and have been pondering their business model here. The admin is Gestapo for a reason. The SBR Forum makes money when bettors LOSE. This is called shared loss revenue via sportsbook affilation. They say here that they are a "sportsbook review", but that is just too get their affiliate link going around with losing bettors. That being said, you would have to be nuts to bet any of their "handicapper" picks. They have no reason to handicap winners, it's not in their best interest, and certainly not in the best interest of the affiliated sportsbooks. SBR, with their sportsbook affiliations, who originally funded SBR? Offshore books?

This being said, I really have gained a lot of betting knowledge here. There are some smart cappers who post. But with their business model, bettors are pretty much gonna get their ass handed to them if they are not aware of what's happening. You have to know why the Gestapo rules are as they are. Having a degree in business is a curse, the world is so damn transparent when it comes to money.
