I've shockingly witnessed the Royals be solid underdogs this whole post season. Tonight is no different. Personally, I'd still take KC if they were favored, so getting juice verse losing juice is total bonus. I am also seeing an Under 7 play here too. Though Hudson gave up 4 runs in 6 inn to St Louis including a homer to Grichuk, I see KC manufacturing a couple of runs and not a slug fest. KC will be in a huge pitcher's park that they're unaccustomed to, and with these million dollar men starting in this CRUCIAL Game 3 in what could be 50 degree temps, I'm not seeing 8 runs in this game to go over 7.

It's worth noting that in September, Hudson was 0-5 during which time his team lost 10-9, 6-1 & 5-0 sandwiched between 2 Dodger shallackings of a 3 inn 9-1 loss, and the infamous 1 inn 17-0 (yea seventeen to nothing) display.

What Guthrie has done since 9/17/14 is pitch over 25 inns in 4 games, allowing two (2) earned runs, KC winning all 4: 7-1, 5-2, 3-1 & 2-1. Jury is still out for me on Giants' relief. As for KC's, starter just needs to get thru 6, and then it's over. They didn't win all those extra inn games on clutch hitting alone either. KC and the UNDER for me.
