I'm always willing to cut people breaks, but they have to put some effort in first...you don't just get to say "my bad" and erase 18 months of screwing up. For CS4, I'd love to see him generate and pay back 5k...but the fact that he's not even trying tells you it's a hollow offer, and he's only offering so he can borrow from other people. He's played those games for years, doesn't make any sense to let him continue.
