This is is not accurate tatddy. Virtually ANY candidate can be made to look like a savior or a disaster by the media. Dozens of complicated issues can be spun or ignored depending on what side of the political fence a member of the media is on.

On paper how could anyone even argue who was more qualified to be president between McCain and Obama? The truth is there was no argument. However the facts remain that the democrats and republicans both have very different objectives so whichever candidate someone supports they are going to support. The average person/union/corporate CEO/media person/lobbyists/pro-life activist/oil exec/illegal immigrant/SBR poster/etc etc all want different things and they are going to support the party they think will be in their best interests.

Just look at the news this week, the US is selling weapons and weapon technology at record setting levels to other nations. Billions annually more then ever before. If republicans were in office the spin by major media outlets would have been " we are arming the world, this is foolish, allies today are enemies tomorrow!" . Since Obama is in office the spin is " our allies will be sharing in the responsibility of keeping themselves and the world safe".

What about all the NSA data collecting and drone attacks worldwide? The media hated in when bush did both, Obama GREATLY expanded both programs and gets much less heat for either.

All the dems who laughed at bush 43 and the the nepotism that made the former freely elected governor of Texas president will roll out the red carpet for Hillary. They planned on handing the presidency to her with her only qualification being she (along with 10% of Arkansas and Los Angeles) slept with bill Clinton. That changed when Obama the savor arrived. So they had to wait 8 years to give this political neophyte the keys to the free world.

It works both ways by the way, so many republicans ( like myself) complain Obama is shooting our national debt through the roof. When he became president it was under 10 trillion and it will be over 18 trillion when he leaves!!! This same republicans didn't complain nearly as much when bush 43 walked into office with a deficit of under 6 trillion in 2000 and left with a deficit of almost 10 trillion in 2008.

I could give 100 examples of double standards, the dems get away with more because of the media cover they get but believe me republican leaders pull our share of crap as well. The system and the country are doomed if things don't change
