Offshore books no longer need SBR. At one point, when the Greek and others were still operating with U.S. players, paying ad dollars to SBR made sense. When many of these reputable books closed shop to U.S. players, the remaining few realized that they were going to have plenty of clientele regardless of SBR's role. I think we have all noticed that SBR's influence over books has started to slide. I think it's because of this development.

If sportsbetting were to go legal, SBR might find that they're in a different game. These casinos are the big boys and while they might throw some ad dollars to SBR, they are going to be spending more money advertising in stadiums, on television, in magazines, etc. Could get ugly for SBR>
