why do people think this? There is no one on a beach with a case of 1.5 million dollars. The 1.5 million dollars figure is player account funds. Aka winnings. This far exceeded the cash they had on hand. They got buried by sharps, which is why once they lost backing they were immediately insolvent.

Also, if SBR released the information about BI being fukked when they found out a month ago, what difference would it have made??? They release the info - BI is dead on the spot. People are acting like if SBR came forward a month ago, everyone would have gotten magically paid. Yes, its bullshit they still allowed deposits, but if they stopped those, someone would have outed them. Not saying anything gave Betislands a chance to AT LEAST TRY to find a different investor, which I'm sure they were being urged and convinced to do by Jon.

SBR chose to look out for the bookie due to their personal and business relationship with him and hope that he could perhaps salvage player funds, versus outing him a month ago and posters have ZERO chance of getting their money back.

SBR fukked up and compounded all of this by insulting everyone's intelligence with the "we just found out days ago" routine.

But don't try to paint it like it was some fukking white collar crime Danny Ocean heist. It was a shitty bookie who took on any and all action and lost money consistently and had his backing pulled. He was just a halfwit moron who instead of paying back the small % he would have been able to decided to take it .
