Really, you probably at one time had a normal brain?
I too have Chuck on ignore. Nothing but insane ignorant racists crap seems to flow forth from his keyboard. The US will be likely better off without him and I honestly pity the poor people living where ever he ends up.

All these folks talking about leaving the US seem to have many things in common. Almost all claim they're leaving because Obama and the "DAMN LIBERALS!" have turned it into or at least down a path of socialism. And everyone I've heard or read has plans to relocate to countries way more socialistic then the US will ever become. "I'm a headed to Canada to get away from the socialism!" You can't make up shit that funny. Of course we are talking about folks who don't believe in polls, science... hell often common sense. They go with their "gut." Good luck with that.

I too wonder what happened to them. I know people I used to work with who've gone so far off the deep end I hardly recognize them anymore. And yes they used to have normal logical thought processing abilities. Now they're doing 180's within months, weeks, sometimes even days. I know several who back during the GOP primaries were convinced _______ was the best candidate and Mitt was a complete POS. Sheldon Adelson donated a shit ton of money to Newt (?) and help produce a 1/2 hour ad, something like "The Real Mitt Romney." Of course that was when Newt was still in the race, once Mitt knocked everyone else out Sheldon was gladly giving him and super PAC's supporting him millions. Within a few months Mitt had gone from being the evil, anti-American guy the Dems painted him to be to a man worthy of praise and millions in support.

I have a good friend down here, good down home guy from Texas. He was a big Perry supporter in the beginning. Told me one day over lunch how stupid Mitt was- "Did you know that guy tried to tell a crowd that corporations are people! What an idiot!" A couple months later while floating around in my pool drinking beer I asked "So you're a Romney guy now?" "Yes, I really think he's the complete package. He's smart, experienced and really has the know how to get the country back out of the mess Obama created." "So no more idiot for the corporations are people?" "No, no really if you think about corporations are people because..." No when I think about corporations still are not people and you weren't buying that horse crap two-three months ago.

I don't know the complete reasons for the constant inconsistency. I know I was pretty firmly in the GOP camp for a long time. didn't vote Reagan the first time, mainly because an officer pretty much ordered everyone in my unit to vote for Reagan or else. I told him I did and voted for Carter. Back then I didn't even clue what the electoral college was, never even heard of it likely. But I voted GHW Bush, Dole and Bush Jr. in 2000. By the time Bush was half way through his first term I just couldn't understand what happened to the conservative principles and ideals. Spending didn't matter, deficits didn't matter. Not even getting it right mattered. We found out the intel. on why we went to war with a country was completely wrong and the party of responsibility held no one responsible. I have friends who lost lives in Iraq. Spilled their blood, came back missing body parts etc... None are completely the same. Some have handled it way better then others. One friend committed suicide. Two days after attending his services I came home and turned on the TV. There was Bush. Laughing, giggling and joking. Looking under and around his podium 'I know dem WMD's is around here somewhere.' Yeah fricking hilarious.

I'm sure someday I'll vote GOP again but not until they stop talking about being responsible and start actually being responsible. They need to stop being the constant angry victims they currently claim to be and start manning up. They didn't lose the election because they're victims of the evil liberal media. They didn't lose because they're victims of voter suppression. They didn't lose because they were victims of the Dems evil smear campaign. They didn't lose because they were victims of racism. They lost because their candidate was completely plastic and their platform is at least 50 years out of date. They lost because too many people no longer buy what they're selling. You can't run up a debt to the tune of several trillion and then ty to blame it all on the next guy without at least some people noticing.

I'll vote GOP again when they nominate a guy more like Huntsman and less like Santorium. I'll never vote for them when they try to split the difference and nominate and guy, like Romney, who tries to be both but manages to be niether.
