EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ (AP) - The FBI was summoned to the pre-game walkthrough of the Dallas Cowboys football team Wednesday afternoon and temporarily shutdown all activities after finding an unknown white powdery substance, local authorities report. At approximately 2:00pm, Head Coach Jason Garrett discovered a mysterious white, powdery substance on the field. Not knowing what it was, Garrett called 911 and poison control as well as the FBI was summoned in. The walkthrough was shutdown and the stadium was evacuated until the FBI could determine what the substance was. After running tests on the unit, the FBI determined the white powdery substance was the goal line. The stadium was re-opened and the Cowboys resumed their walkthrough. The FBI concluded that this was not a threat to the Cowboys, because it was unlikely that they would encounter the goal line for the remainder of the season. "We had never seen this substance "Goal Line" before, so naturally I wanted to be cautious. But after the FBI explained what the "Goal Line" was, I was no longer worried, as we had never experienced it before and would probably never experience it again". The Cowboys open their season tonight against the defending Super Bowl Champions, the New York Giants.
