John, with all due respect, this is not a fair solution at all. I played at sportsbooks only because they were recommended to me by this site. I just renewed my pro status on Feb. 19th. I am definitely getting screwed. If you wanted to give points to the users that signed up in Jan or Feb (which will still not be fair, as we should be re-uped just like everyone else was) you should give us the points that will equal the 200 that we put into the sportsbook. I notice that you have $50 gift cards in the store for 1168. Based on this number if we deposed the $200, we should get 4572 points!! While giving us something is a nice gester, and while I only speak for myself, receiving 100 points is a slap in the face, while everyone else gets a free year of pro status. Extending everyone 1 year is the fairest solution there is. We should not be discriminated against because of when we extended our pro status. There is nothing behind the argument that because someone else is getting something extra for free that I need to have it too. Sometimes birthdays and cutoffs mean people get luckier than others. If is was for the calendar yr, which has no relevance, instead of the date of the program, and you PRO'd Dec 30th, you would say the same thing. You were able to take part in something and from that date on, get all the freebie stuff promised. Nothing is being taken from you. The Pro program is worth about $450. If you donated $200, to Doctors without Borders you are coming out well ahead. No one owes you because you lost a $200 bet no more than if you won a $2000 parlay.
