This thread has gone astray with personal attacks and discussion unrelated to the issue. If a mod is a loser or Thad's sportsbook should not exist has nothing to do with the store increases.

SBR is a business and its main goal is to have profits. They have a generous loyality rewards system, the points. Of course, it costs money, but SBR also get referals, which surely provide income to pay for the program and more. However, we all agree that SBR must control the cost of the points program.

They have been doing it lately in many ways.

1.- The trivia questions are way harder now and pay smaller prizes (freeplays instead of points).
2.- The blackjack casino promo is seldom offered, with 20p limit and for a few minutes.
3.- Anniversary bonus is discontinued.
4.- Sportsbook limits has been cut drastically, reaching ridiculous amounts such as 300 points on NBA totals. All of $21 for you to bet, that is beyond recreational. I remember betting 2000p NBA moneylines two years ago (while points value was maybe triple than now), now limit is 500p.
5.- John special lines are offered less often lately, with smaller EV and lower limits.
6.- Free contests are mostly over, and the ones with good prizes are now paid in freeplays, with a fee that almost covers the prizes.
7.- The points devaluation. A few months ago "repackaging" the sportsbook cash to $140 chunks (which was essentially a 30% price increase) and now the price increases across the board.

This is not a knock on SBR. They have to control the costs and are doing just that. Maybe the pro membership renewals with the same book account are producing less income. Maybe they were too generous when devising the program and now have to cut back. Maybe some of the perks were not giving enough community bang for the spent buck.

I think the main complaint is the shift on SBR stance about the changes. We were (maybe wrongly) used to the friendly announces like "Guys,we are going to increase the prices in store, so unload your orders before midnight. Enjoy!". Now it is more like "Cut the sportsbook limits hoping no one notices, and if someone complaints make a spin to weasel out". The "true odds parlay promo" was the funniest example.

In sum, SBR is a business and may do as they like with its loyalty program. But as a poster I would prefer a frank "Guys, the sharps are beating us on parlays so we have to modify the payout table" than "true odds parlay promo has ended, but look at the new and shiny teaser promo".
