    This is the championship game so you could probably throw that crap out the window. Remember when Oregon closed as a favorite over Auburn last year due to a flood of Ducks money on game day? Same think happened with Oklahoma over USC a few years ago, the inferior teams got bet very heavy for some reason on game day.

    Alabama's defense edges LSU in terms of points against & yards per game. Also Bama's offence edges LSU in yards per rush.

    LSU faced a tougher schedule, they beat Oregon by 13, West Virginia by 26, Arkansas by 24 and Georgia by 32. Alabama beat ONE team that finished regular season over .500, Arkansas by 24. So LSU's numbers get a bump when adjusted for SOS.
