Viking FK - SK Brann, SK Brann @ 2.90 (1.5x)

Game from Tippeligaen in Norway. Viking plays a 4-3-3 formation, against Haugesund they played very low which frustrated FKH. Despite the early goal against, Viking did not give up, in fact, they created three great chances in the first half. Those three chances came from Berisha, Nevland and Sæternes. Second half started much like the first, FHK make it 2-0 but now Viking looks finished. They get one more great chance from Nevland/Berisha in stoppage time but it hits the crossbar from a good position. Viking created more chances then FHK but its clear they lack confidence and faith in front of goal.
The club is in a crisis, it has not won since April 2 and is last in the Tippeligaen. In addition, the team is plauged by injuries and suspentions at the moment. Now, both Berisha (10 games, 2 goals) and Nevland (10 games, 2 goals) who stood for the majority of chances against FHK are suspended. Since before they missed, midfielder Danielsen (9 games), midfielder Sokolowski (4 games, 1 goal), midfielder Knarvik (6 games), striker Ingelsten and midfielder Bjarnason (9 games) are away on International duty. Midfield is noticeably accosted by injuries, this led to Nevland went down and played there last game. All players who has scored this season is out right now.

Brann did not play on Monday, their match was on Friday so they've got a couple of days extra rest. They then took on Sogndal at home, which ended in a 2-0 win. Impressive win because the team lacked many influential players. Captain Mjelde was injured, Austin plays in the Gold Cup for Jamaica, benchplayers Mezquida and Juninho where also injured and topscorer Ojo was suspended. Both Mjelde and Mezquida looks fit enough to play tomorrow and Ojo will of course be back. Even without these players Brann created four chances in the first half against Sogndal, including hitting the post at the end of the half. After the break Sogndal came out better but never created them really crystal clear chances, instead Brann could score both 1-0 and 2-0 and thus the win was assured.

Viking comes from a loss and more players missing while Brann comes from a win and get back influential players. If we compare which teams they´ve met thus far, Viking have losses to Vålerenga and Strömsgodset at home and draw to Odd and Molde. Brann have wins over Lilleström, Vålerenga, draw against Haugesund and losses to Tromsö and Strömsgodset, all on the road. Viking is the weakest team Brann have met thus far, but Viking will be desperate.

I can´t understand why Brann isnt favorites here? 2.90 must be value. Im also tempted to try the under @ 2.00. Any thoughts?

    This game is tomorrow 16/6
