    Vegas wants Pittsburgh right now to cover. that can change by tomorrow, but by the way I hear the action is going from people that write at sportsbooks I know, I don't think it will happen.

    they proabably want pitt to lose by 1 or 2 haha, that way all the gb backers ats lose and all the people that took pitt ml. you know most people are taking pitt ml and gb ats

    I'm with Green Bay. Everyone thinks the Steelers are the better team but there is that human factor. Every Super Bowl I've ever seen has had some controversial call by the refs that may have changed the outcome. Most want Green Basy to win but think the Steelers will. I think Green Bay wins this because the refs are on their side.

    Super complicated issue involving tens of thousands of bets on spread/ML/total, teasers, parlays, futures, quarters, halves, props, etc. Don't think of it as a right side and a wrong side for the books. The exact score (both total and margin of victory) and every detail of how the game plays out could affect the books bottom line dramatically.

    There's no way to know for sure until after the game and all action is closed.

    Lots of money can come in at the end and change which way the books are over-leveraged, if at all.

    The line seems to be moving in the direction that suggests that too much GB money is coming in. But maybe the sharps have been sitting on the sidelines waiting for this exact thing to happen and they will hammer Pitts all day tomorrow and straighten the line out. If, magically, all action was closed at this moment, I'd say that the books want Pitts to win because they seem to be moving the line in a way that suggests too much is on GB.

    I think even a push at 3 is huge for Vegas...and there is a good chance this happens...GB gets up...then like always don't really know what to do about it. GB might be up 9 or 10 for good part of 2nd half and then a late TD by Pitt.

    I'd say Vegas is cheering for Pitt as well but props are unknown at this point and they'll likely garner similar total action as sides....Then again, as a whole, has Vegas ever taken a deep bath on total Superbowl wagers in the last 10 years. I know that Pats/Giants +14 game was bad for them but these guys manage to turn a profit virtually every year don't they?

    Obviously SBR book needs Pittsburgh. Many, many large bets on GB at good prices (1.5 and 2.5), only squares betting their 6 points to a bad steelers line, and no moneyline to compensate. Strange decision to take such high risk, I hope it works for SBR.

    the game landing on 3 would be the worse thing for vegas, because steelers backers would buy it up to +3.5 packers get it down to 2.5, so everyone is winning, bad scenario for vegas
