Green Bay has never trailed by more than 7 all year

That is an incredible stat!!! only 3 teams in the history of the NFL have done that.. Imagine if Green Bay had no injuries all year, how good could they have been!!!!

    I did not realize that!

I knew they haven't lost a game by more than 4, but never trailing by more than 7 is amazing. Consider also that they are better now than they have been all year.

But this has no relevance to Sunday's game since they never played the Steelers before this year. Throw this stat out of the window.

Could be interesting to see what happens if Pitt can jump out to a 10-14 point lead.

i think rodgers got hurt in the 2nd quarter, but anyway

Flynn was woefully unprepared??? and Caleib Hanie was ready to go in the NFC championship game?

a rodgers is one hit away from watching the game from the bench

Apparently yes because Haine play a lot better than Flynn did vs. Detroit, Look at the difference in Flynn's performance when he had a full week to prepare for the Patriots.

As usual you are CLUELESS when it comes to anything that has to do with GB. They played the Steelers last year so they are somewhat familiar with them. What this incredible stat means even if you can't see it, is that they are in EVERY game right to the end

Lets throw out a stat that no team in football has done in the last 48 years!

I remember this stat coming up before the Atlanta game too; guess it didn't matter in that game, right?

They got whipped up front. It happens. Pats got blown by the Browns, any given Sunday.

Well, Packers never trailing by more than seven points is more pertinent than losing to the Steelers last season, because not only are the Packers better this year then last, but they are also better right now than they were for most of THIS regular season. It is true that this team may have finished as the top seed in the NFC if not for all their injuries, especially with all of their losses being by four or less. If they win half of those close losses (conceivable with a healthy roster), you are looking at 13-3.

You could say the Steelers are better this year than last year too....

That was a great public burial.

Too bad the super bowl is a coin flip.

But the weakest link on either defense is the Pittsburgh cornerbacks, something the Packers can exploit with four-receiver sets.

That is a great stat and something I didn't know. I am from PA but I think GB may be the slightly better team. But, I almost never play a favorite no matter how small in the SB. I will take Pitt and buy the half if I need to.

When speaking about the Lions game don't forget about rodgers throwing an absolute strike to a wide open jennings with a clear path for a touchdown, only for jennings to have it go through his hands, off his helmet, and be intercepted.

Just to add to that, didn't the pack keep it within 7 all game in the 2009 meeting? I think they went.....oh wait, they may have gone 17-7 down at one point , but they kept in it to the wire

Actually, now that I think about it, I think the Packers could line up with an all white offensive unit. I wonder if it actually occurred at any point during the season. I seriously doubt it because I can't imagine Jennings, Driver and Jones (the #1,2,3 WRs) all sitting on the sideline at once for any reason whatsoever.

    QB Aaron Rodgers
    RB John Kuhn
    FB Corey Hall
    WR Jordy Nelson
    WR Brett Swain
    TE Tom Crabtree
(I won't list the o-linemen but the regular starters are all white)

Also, all of the defensive unit are black. Practice must look like a chess game with white versus black at times.

I'm picking Pitt. But Pitt barely beat a #5 & #6 seed at home. Packers beat a #1, #2 & #3 seed, all on the road.

(Not to mention the Bears beat the Jets and the Falcons beat the Ravens in the regular season.)

There are lots of reasons to like the Steelers, but the Packers had a much tougher road to get there.

    Here's another interesting stat:

The Steelers have only given up more than 24 points once this year (Pats).

The Packers have only given up more than 26 points once this year (Pats).

That seems to be a pretty good hint to take the under?

    stats like this are meaningless..

look at 2007 New England rolled everyone all year and get to the Super Bowl and lose to the Giants

as I said before, nobody can predict which team is gonna play better, and a turnover will probably decide the game.

I do know this, Mike Tomlin will not be out-coached.

Did I miss something? Did this team not lose 6 times this year? Had refs not blown the call in the Vikes game they wouldn't even be in the playoffs.

This thread is like ESPN, all HYPE.

    Real talk.
