This UFC card is just too good ... SB is just over hyped and always seems to be a let down.

    Most excited for...

    UFC 126
    Superbowl Commercials
    Superbowl XLV

    In that order.

Maybe if they had gsp vs silva

    If lesner was still relevant

if they diden't recycle fights/fighters every few ppv's

who really cares about griffin and franklin, these guys are contenders???

belfort...title, loses to anyone have decent, beats a few scrubs in a row, title shot since everyone else sucks too

rest of the guys i've never heard of.

who the **** would want to watch silva fight anyway, annoying boring monkey who's overrated too bad ufc is full of scrubs, maybe they should send in some crappy japs so he can lose again

Their ppv's rates are already stagnating, only time they really draw a lot is with Lesner who's pretty much done.

Its barely even considered a "sport" to most people in the world.

ppv is doing incredible even when the cards arent stacked . It is more popular then nfl around the world X 10000 but the nfl will always be king in the us .

Exactly, MMA is more popular worldwide. Which is important, think of how many great fighters in the UFC come from Brazil alone.

So we should only watch fights that involve "contenders"? If that was the case then how would anybody ever get to contender status? Jon Jones was fighting Andre GUsmao a couple years ago, he wasnt a "contender" then was he!

I love sports and I love violence. I hate UFC. Every fight is great, for 30 seconds, then it turns into a giant male humping contest. And that's fukking gay.

They need to break it up into two divisions: one for the guys who actually want to fight, and another for the fags who want to flail around on the ground trying to set-up a submission hold because they are too big of a pussy to take a punch. It's like watching basketball before the shot clock, when all the shitty teams with no talent just held the ball because they didn't have the skills to compete.

If your fighting strategy is a submission hold, you're openly admitting you're too much of a pansy to fight. Get those sissies out of UFC or it will just be a fad. Sooner or later people are going to wake up and realize the Gracies are a bunch of douchebags. If I wanted to see that shit I could go to a gymnastics meet.

Even not knowing what I would see if I was to watch JJGold, my choice is the Super Bowl.

    Ditto.

I respect the athletes, it's the over the top fans that I have a problem with.
Most of them think they can fight, they can't, wear the gear, use this phrase to death, "just tap out, yo"

Not different from any other sport, I suppose. I see people in nfl jerseys all the time who think that they would have made that catch, or that tackle, or would have coached the team better.

Fact is there is a huge gap in athletic ability between fans and athletes, but don't tell the fans of the sports that...

Fans are usually poser wannabes to some extent, what is so bad about that?
