Big Ben is the best qb in football
I am saying it here, and now. This guy has been the best player all year not reg season like Peyton, but all year. I think that since the injury Brady is to panicky when you get heat on him. I know everyone is on the Rodgers bandwagon, but he is nothing compared to Ben. i want the ball in his hands at the end of the superbowl, not Rodgers

I agree. Already has 2 SB wins, he's tough, plays hurt & wins. Ben will end up being bigger than Brady or Manning

Rodgers and manning are both better QBs, if you try to put down Brady for being a system QB then don't forget ben has the best defense in the league to help him win super bowls. Ben is the best rapist in the NFL, I'll give you that.

Sorry OP, Ben is a "system QB" that only wins SB's because of his team's amazing defense.
lol lets go back 2 big ben's first superbowl. 9-21 123 yards and 2 picks. yet they win because of defense. he gets credit when if anything, he helped his team lose. he isnt a top 5 qb.
Most qbs nowadays go down with pressure.. this dude fights.. hes perfect for the whole steeler mentality because they are a physical team and he is a very physical qb. his ability to keep plays alive gives him the advantage over a lot of guys in the league.
Next year..........that rookie QB for the Vikings.....Bell.....he is gonna be a good one....
It's still a team game , I think. I like to think the others players and coaches have something to do with winning super bowls.
I cringe every time I hear on espn,etc how Sanchez beat Manning and Brady. No, the jets beat the colts and pats.
As for this thread and the endless discussions on the networks, why does there have to be a "best"? They are all great players - just enjoy and appreciate and try to decide which TEAM vs which other TEAM gives you a good chance to win a bet.

The thread is more about is Big Ben a top 5 QB in the league, and I think he is, hes a good leader and does what he needs to help his team win. The Profit mentioned he has two rings and he will just wait in the pocket for someone to get open. He will probably never win an MVP like Peyton or Tom, but he is likely to end up with the same number or more rings. An HOFer all the way.
Big Ben is the best quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Other teams in the league would give him more difficulty

The OL makes people a better QB. But last I checked Ben is on the sideline when the D is on the field

I can't disagree with this assessment. He single handedly carried his team to victory against BAL & has consistently brought his team back from late second deficits to win games.
Not to mention Ben got all sorts of zebra help in the SB v. Sea.
I don't like NE, Captain Bill or Pretty Boy Tom, but Brady is the best in the business right now, give Rodgers a little more time and the zen master QB in Green Bay may just belong in the same sentence as Tom and Peyton.
Ben might be, maybe in the top five in the game right now, but certainly not #1.
So Trent Dilfer won that SB for the Ravens that year? Had nothing to do with the D? Stupid to say a D cant make a QB back better with timely turnovers that give them great field position, or just stopping a team in its own territory giving the QB great field position when he gets the ball back...
He's not even the best/most important player on his own team.
Take Polamalu out of that team and they don't make the playoffs, simple. Take Ben out for 4 games this season they go 3-1 with no-name QBs.

BEN makes plays from seemingly impossible situations. He makes you say "wtf how the hell did get away from him and make that pass?" Brady rarely does that.
He has the chance to be the one...
