    steelers will represent the afc

nothing against the jets, they are a good team I like sanchez LT and rex ryan but they will not get past pittsburgh.

    steelers -3.5 if line sticks

the other side is a toss up but i lean the packers

I agree both ways... may play Steelers ML though. They seem to always find a way to squeak out a win, but may not cover.

There's a lot of evidence to back up both of these statements. Let’s look at how the Steelers have faired against good teams this year. They beat Atlanta by 6, lost to Baltimore by 3, beat Miami by 1, lost to New Orleans by 10, lost by 13 to New England, they beat Baltimore by 3, and then lost to the Jets by 5. Those were their tough games this year. Add up those results and we’re at a margin of negative -22. Just something to think about!

What about the playoff game? What about the fact heath and troy didn't play last game against jets?

Have the Steelers from a preseason pool so I hope they win the whole thing. Don't know if I would take the Steelers 3.5...that extra half a point really hurts in a game that should be low scoring and close. The Steelers with Polamalu this time should win. Both teams have better defenses than offenses...just saying.

I think what you may see on the offensive side of the ball for Pitt is using the speedsters Wallace, Brown, and Sanders blowing the top off of coverage all day long taking defenders with them and using Miller, who did not play the first game between these two, and Ward in the middle of the field. If Ward gets Revis on coverage, look for Miller to have a huge game.

If you look at the Jets tough games, they are minus >30 take the biggest wins and losses out of each and Steelers still way ahead.

also i see people saying well pitt almost lost to buffalo and jets blew them out.... well steelers blew out the browns twice and, jets went late in to ot with them...

bottom line, nothing from december matters now... nothing from last week matters... its all about this game
