he's a pretty good game manager, and he can make big plays in crunch time. but he's not a manning, brady, or brees. he couldn't carry the team on his shoulders. it's more like his team carries him, but he definitely isn't the weak link either. he's just one part of the success.

The Jets have the best offensive line in the NFL, 2 good running backs, 2 great WR and a good TE adding an elite defense to that and you can't give Sanchez much credit until he wins the Superbowl.
What kind of chance did you give him to beat the Patriots?

He's a good game manager, similar to a Phil Simms in his glory days. Not spectacular, but good enough to get the job done. Actually you could him and Big Ben in the same category.

If he does just enough on his end, the Jets should be able to beat Pitt and send the Jets to their 1st Superbowl in 40 freaking Years.

I can barely believe my eyes. A Patriots fan talking sh*t about the QB who just ended the Pats' season a couple of hours ago.

Sanchez is not a great or even good QB. He is a game manager, not a game changer. Rex Ryan and that defence is the reason they are where they are....

    lol

game managers dont lead their team to 5 comeback wins.

game managers dont throw a 38yd strike on 3rd down after the pocket collapses and he has to improvish

game managers dont throw a 58yd strike to answer the other teams comeback

game managers dont throw 80yd touchdowns vs colts last playoffs

game managers dont throw 3 touchdowns in the game rex ryan called the 2nd biggest game in jets history

game managers dont have numbers that are comparable or better than peyton, brady, big ben after their first 5 post season games.

joe flacco and matt ryan have far greater talent around them but havent done squat in post season. jets dont even have a 1000yd rusher or receiver for gawd sakes.

put down the haterade and the crack pipe.

Put him on the panthers and then what would you be saying? His stats are mediocre. His play improves in the post season. He is one guy on a team of 52. Replace him with Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Jets would still be where they are.

He makes his bread and butter on 5 yard passes over the middle.

Yes, it sounds like Brady. But Sanchez can't throw the deep ball

Ummm, sorry dude, he's a classic game manager, but he's good at it so don't that's not a shot at him.

He just can't carry the team on his back like elite QBs.

No the Jets defense beat Brady, Sanchez was just along for the ride.

put peyton or brady on carolina and what would you get? and what would it prove?

stats arent everything. montana didnt have spectacular stats either. never passed for 4000yds and just 1 season with 30 tds. yet hes considered by many to be the greatest ever because of his post season heroics.

plus jets were 4th in dropped passes. had his receivers had better hands his stats would be better. not to mention no running game to speak of to open up the field. yet he still passed for 3300yds & 17 tds.

but reg season stats dont matter in post season. if it did flacco and ryan would be in conf finals not sanchez.

as for fitzgerald.... give me a break. the guy couldnt even hold a job with the rams. just because he had a few good games in non pressure situation and meaningless games doesnt mean he would be the same with the jets. there are dozens of qbs that failed under pressure. not even flacco or ryan would lead the jets to back to back conf finals
cause they cant even do it with their own better teams.

Thats the point, put Peyton or Tom on Carolina and you get another 6 wins, put any mediore QB on the Jets and they're still as good as they are now.

Aaron Rodgers is above Tom Brady?

Does your history go back one week? Aaron Rodgers has won ONE playoff game, man that is one of the worst lists i have ever seen Matt Ryan is better than Big Ben?, Schaub better than Rivers?

Its scary thinking you bet money on this, you have no idea.

yesterday just showed that Brady isn't the shit like some say. Ya he is good but he plays on a well coached team that usually gives him good protection (not yesterday) and most QB's will do well if that's the case.

He doesn't scramble much or make any wonderful amazing plays that makes you jump out of your seat and say WOW! Roethlisberger does that. Rodgers does that. Manning does that. Even Vick does that.

Brady is a decent QB and yes he won his Super Bowls and for that I will give him credit but I won't mention in the same breathe when discussing the greatest all time.

    6 wins. lol

peyton led the colts to 3-13 one season. but he would do better on a team with less talent than he had? lol

funny thing is, had sanchez been pats qb theyd be in the afc championship game not the jets.

so? peyton didnt start winning until they brought in tons of talent. yet you think hes worth 6 wins to a shitty team?

sanchez has accomplished more in his 1+ years in the league than any other qb in history. yet you and others think hes a bust or something. yeah keep losing your money betting against him. thats satisfying enough.

He deserves credit. Didnt look startled or out of his depth last night like he did a few times on big games. His inconsistency is his main draw back, much like Arsenal players
