Packers vs. Falcons (Passing on this game is the ONLY option)

Lets face it, Trying to pick a side or total in this game is gambling at its finest..

Rodgers can pick apart any defense, but their running game is a little shady and prevents them from holding leads, finishing games.

Matt Ryan is a stud, but the Falcons play so conservative, they are always one mistake away from losing. Defense is good, but not dominating.

Packers passing game can easily take the total over, Falcons ball control, running can eat up a ton of clock and keep the total under.

Just look at the game these guys played earlier in the year.. The game looked to go way under up until half, then it ended up probably where it will again this week, one team winning by a fg with the total in the low 40's. To say you know which team will win this game is a reach.

The people that watched football all season long realize this one is the coin flip of all coin flips and will be sitting this one out.

This is not a coin flip. Packers lost 6 games this season by 3 or 4 points. This means they can't finish and the Falcons who know how to finsh games have the upper hand in a fiery dome at home.

Hard to not play the Falcons considering their home dominance and Green Bay's lack of a running game.

This is definitely a NOOOOOOOO PLAY for me too. I can see using the packers in a Teaser because I think this game will be super close, but I doubt I'll even do that.

Lost a lot of respect for the Pack last week. Teams I like are teams that know who they are and play as such. I think they have a lot of unfortunate/unforgivable identity issues on Offense. Can they fix it and come out with a better game plan this week? Maybe. I don't like maybe's.

The main question I have is, do the Packers believe they have a good running game now? It used to happen in the playoffs where I would fade teams that were under the illusion they had a running game, especially when coached by thick headed defensive minded coaches. Some of these teams just wanted to have a running game so bad that they would convince themselves they did, despite themselves...The Packers are starting to encroach into one of these teams...

Not entirely tho. What I don't know is "is Mike McCarthy one of "those" coaches?
Maybe Starks is pretty good. Have not seen the guy enough.
And even if they have a bad game plan, Rodgers could prob still bail them out. He may even be better this way.

I think you're right, iifold. This could be an excellent game to watch but a tough one to bet on.

I think the Packers will win. I don't think most people understand how much Michael Turner has fallen off if they have not watched all of the Falcons games, and they lean on him so much. Since I live in Atlanta but am not a Falcons fan I realize that he is not running like he used to and will cost them the game.

Packers here. I think the Packers offer a lot of mismatch problems for ATL.

It is going to be a game of ifs. If this didn't happen or if that didn't happen. Atlanta is going to own the stadium because of the weather. Not too many Packer's fans will be at this game. So it is going to be LOUD against the Packers. We will see if Aaron Rodgers is an elite quarterback or if he is an elite fantasy quarterback.

Tease the Pack with the Pats - GB +10 & NE -2. Pack hasn't lost by more than 4 all year and the Pats won't blow out the Jets like last time, but will cover the duece. Also love the UNDER!

Packers are the play. It's not even close to a non-play either. I'd take GB -1 and I can promise you it's +ev.

I think the public is more on GB but close to a split anyway.

Under looks like the play but that maybe late on that.

It's all pretty much a gamble at this point in the season. The advantages in these games are razor thin. Anyone who claims any of these games is a lock is an idiot. But this place is full of degenerates who have to have at least one wager on every playoff game, so passing is not an option for them. Seeing almost everybody on here on Green Bay and the line going up on Atlanta is kind of scary, but I still like Green Bay. Line movement is mostly public driven in the playoffs. Hopefully it keeps going up so I can get a better number. I would feel pretty good if I could buy it up to +3.5.

Why not put the Falcons in a teaser instead? They are the best home team the last 3 years and if they lose it won't be by more than 4 points.

Teasing across the zero is generally very poor value.
