Harbaugh 'glad' Ravens broke Big Ben's nose

The Ravens bloodied Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger in Round 2 of their annual slugfest. Haloti Ngata slapped Roethlisberger in the facemask -- it didn't look intentional -- in the Steelers' Week 13 win, breaking Big Ben's nose and causing blood to pour out of his shattered schnoz.

At his Monday press conference, Ravens coach John Harbaugh was asked about Roethlisberger's toughness, and he admitted that he was glad the Ravens broke Big Ben's nose.
“He’s a tough guy. He had the broken nose. ... I was glad we broke his nose," Harbaugh said, drawing laughter from reporters. "And I was very impressed that he played through it. Obviously, you can throw very effectively with a broken nose. He proved that." It sounds like Harbaugh wouldn't mind if the Ravens bloodied Roethlisberger again on Saturday.
"We’re going to try to get after him like we always do," Harbaugh said. "He knows that. That’s the key to stopping him: you’ve got to get him down. You can’t let him extend plays, and when he does extend plays, you’ve got to cover those guys. And that’s easier said than done.”
