    Pats -9

BB always wins after a bye, hates Ryan, and would love to run up the score. Jets on the road two weeks in a row. Terrible coaching by the Colts last week. It will happen.

the thing I remember one of the reporters saying before the game is that Brady thought that the Jets D was not that complicated and he thought he had some things figured out.

Only 2 losses this year, sounds like a good moneyline play, unless they do a New Orleans Saints laydown.

Not sure where you got these numbers but I believe Belichick is 14-4 after a bye week and they have won the last 12 in a row. The last bye week loss I believe was somewhere around 02/03.

Why is it everyone seems to think the Jets are lucky? Consistent luck is an oxymoron.

Considering the last time these teams played each other I think the patriots should make short work of the Jets. I would expect a solid game from the patriots offensive and defensive lines basically nullifying the Jets' strengths and the rest of the team will dominate accordingly.

I don't think Belichick will want to run up the score, but he will want to put up a win and will attempt to get enough points for that to happen. The patriots -9 seems like a pretty good line. I don't want to bet the Jets side, but it's hard giving up nine points in the playoffs. It gets easier to give up the points when you consider this may become a shootout a la -Brady vs Sanchez-

Got them from Mark Lawrence's annual playbook magazine he puts out every year. Numbers are from 1999 to 2009

I will be taking the Pats -9 hell, I would probably take them -14 after watching them torch the Jets last time and seeing the Jets playing pretty bad lately.

Patriots are lickin' their chops. They'll put up 30+ on the Jets again.

I don't see how it will be much different than the last time they played.

I didn't play them last few games since I thought they would rest players and won't cover. It probably not my luck to play them now.

Pats win easy. Jets will make too many mistakes, led by average QB and cocky head coach.

Lovin the Pats in this spot again... -9 seems inflated because of the blowout last time they played, but can't see a reason this game is any different. If there's a blizzard I'll lay up to 13.5 here, maybe more.

I'm on the BB/TB bandwagon too. I think it gets ugly again and the Pats roll. Double-digits seems right to me as the line, but it looks to be hanging right at 8.5 or 9. Will wait and see if it trickles down at all before getting on the Pats.
