Same thing was said last week about the Saints. They've already beat the Bears at Chicago and now they've established a decent running game. Your kind will keep the line @ -10 and give us MLers some more profit.

Seattle lost on the road by 17 to Denver, 30 to Oakland, 15 to New Orleans, 19 to San Francisco, and 23 to Tampa. They did beat the Bears in one of their two wins coming out of their bye. I think they get around 10 points from Chicago and about 14 from Atlanta. And I think either team the Bears or Falcons will cover against Seattle.

You never want to go with trends during the playoffs. ESPN was spitting out the stat about how all of their loses were by 15 or more points all week. Saints = for sure win = lock w/ -10 1/2 spread to the general public. How'd that end up?

I actually believe the same thing as well. Seahawks at home are a much different team when the games actually count. On the road it's a different story. However, this is Pete Carroll's first year as a head coach and this team is really buying into the whole mentality of "us against the world". A lot of people may not think Carroll is that great of a NFL coach, but what he brings to the table is the psychological aspect. He's a great motivator and "cheerleader". Seattle was down 10-0 early, yet he was out there telling Hasselbeck that it's just one interception and a team isn't going to lose a game in the 1st quarter. He's the 2nd oldest active coach in the NFL behind Coughlin if you can imagine that. Looking at him moving up and down the sidelines you'd think he was one of the youngest.

Now imagine this happening. Seahawks and Packers win outright and Seattle hosts the NFC Championship. Wouldn't that be something?

If anyone here caps the seahawks they will know that hasselbeck,okung,williams...qb..ot...wr combo really haven't had a chance to work the offence much during the regular season. With the emergence of a running game and a defence that can make plays when they need to..oh and leon washington as a special teams threat. I wouldn't automaticaly count out a Seattle moneyline bet.

They need to work Washington into the run game more. That dude was a beast for the Jets.

I don't think Hasselbeck can play a better game than he did today. Also the corners for the Saints were awful. It'd be hard to expect the same from a team like the Falcons or Bears. Leon Washington can be shutdown if you kick it short or squib kick like the Saints did early on. Only disadvantage that has is that Seattle was starting from the 30 or 40 yard line. Seattle also has to work on their punt blocking. Each and every time it seems like Washington had 3 or 4 Saints coming right at him.

Also, which Jay Cutler will we see? The Carolina Panthers could beat the Bears if Cutler goes off for 4 interceptions, 2 of which are Pick 6's.

well as a homer and a avid capper of the seahawks I will play ats and ml but small.i have a feeling this could be another great game..the comeback after being down 10 has convinced me that this teamcan do it...can play...special teams need to block better thats for sure and dropped passes need attention to as well. If we play chicago I love our chances for another upset.

I think there is very little chance of an Upset beyond this one...

With that said... Neither did anyone else... I was just crazy enough to put money on it like Harry did...

Our best, and possibly only chance is going to Chicago... Cutler can play as bad as anyone in the league... I absolutely HATE our chances in Atlanta...

Seahawks could go to the Superbowl because they will host the championship game against Green Bay.

I liked the Seahawks + the points but never thought theyd win the game. I really liked the total more than anything but have to be honest when I say that I saw the momentum shift to the Colts early in the 4th and figured the Seahawks were all done.

On the road, I say they get blown out.

Based on what? The Seahawks already went into Chicago and beat the Bears this year. This Seahawks team reminds me of Arizona a few years ago when a crappy team came outta nowhere and caught fire. Could see it happening again. Man this game just showed how little the regular season means anymore. A team can go 7-9 and get a HOME playoff game against the defending champs who went 11-5 and of course the crappy team who had no shot wins easily.

Seahawks have a shot in Chicago, they already showed they can beat them there. But both teams have grown a lot since then.

Seahawks have much less of a shot going to Atlanta. The Falcons just recently had their way with the Seahawks at Seattle.
