thwy don't have to fix it...
    odds for over - 1.9
    odds for under - 1.9
    odds for H - 1.9

either way they have big chances to win BECAUSE of that 1.9 odd.

PS: but a lot of games are fixed...no matter you win or lose...there are A LOT of suspicious calls

yet another stupid post from the guy who said pats would finish .500 after trading moss.

colts lost because they were dumb enough to kick it to cromartie. had they squibbed it since he was going to run it out of end zone regardless, the colts would be heading to pittsburgh.

at least we get to see bitch get beat in foxboro again next week.

this is football, you have to understand WHY.
Time of possession being a factor in the first quarter? In the second quarter? The Colts pass game is their version of ball control offense.

And the way to take away concerns of TOP, score early and often.

It makes no sense to have a conservative game plan against a team with no secondary. Cromartie might be one of the most over-rated players in the league.

This loss and Colts performance will look even worse when Brady absolutely demolishes the Jets D next week. I hate Brady and the Pats, but they will come out throwing and play to win.

So Manning is one of the dumbest players to ever play then.

The Pats are going to attack early. They will stack the box on 1st and force Sanchez to beat them in 2nd and 3rd and longs. Watching Pats games was so predictable this season. They did the same thing to Pit. Take away the run on 1st down. They dictate when the other team is going to throw the ball, instead of the other team deciding. Should have been the same thing yesterday. Especially when it became obvious Sanchez was missing open guys all night.

The Colts did get what the deserved.

If you look at the match-up, which style of game benefits which team? Colts let the Jets dictate the game to them. A low-scoring game overwhelming favors the Jets, cause it would only take 1 score to win. Where as a high scoring game would take 30 points or more.

The play that really got me was the WR screen on 3rd and 8 from the Jets 48 or so. That play says we are playing to not lose.

nfl is not fixed even the best teams have to lose, just cause certain players aren't feeling right, it happens everywhere - that's the reason why favs don't win all the time

It makes no sense that the Colts lead the NFL in pass play percentage at 64.7%, that Manning avgs 42 atts/gm this year, threw 39 passes vs Jets in AFC Championship game last year, but throws 26 passes tonight against a defense missing Leonhard, a defense that gave up 270 pass yds/gm L3 road games and 8 TDs and 1 INT, without Leonhard...

It makes no sense that a hall of fame QB Superbowl champ would have the offense go through Addai when the Jets have the 3rd ranked rush defense in the NFL.

Seriously now, I feel like there is no Santa Claus, and the curtain is pulled back and the NFL is rigged, and the Wizard is dead. Someone explain to me how a QB like Manning would say yeah, let's run the ball against a team with an injury-riddled secondary. It makes no sense. 27 rushing attempts by the Colts?

And a line that sat at 44.5 all week hits 44 late and even is shaded to -114 Under?

Maybe because I am reading Interference at the moment, a book about the NFL and its long relationship with Organized Crime, shady owners and players gambling on games.

Someone explain to me why the Colts would decide to use their weakness, 29th ranked rushing offense to attack the Jets' strength, their 3rd ranked rushing defense.

I really see no way for me to continue capping and betting the NFL when such a calamity can take place.

I am reading Modea's book right now: Interference.

He goes way back to the start of the NFL. It is amazing how many owners had ties to the mafia, how many owned race tracks and a couple casinos.

He chronicles numerous investigations the NFL would start that involved fixed games or players betting on games or owners with (Debartolo in particular) organized crime ties, only to drop the cases right when the truth was about to be known. Joe Namath owned a bar where the mob hung out and his bartender was a bookmaker.

I think the biggest flaw in logic people make today is that because players are so well paid, they wouldn't throw games. People don't change. The reasons don't change. Why would Irving Fryar need to bet on games? He wasn't making enough? Another case the NFL started, never finished, and all the documents are sealed.

    Excellent book though.

Nobody's fault but your own for laying the money down on Indy. The Jets were the play there and though it was close they prevailed at the end.
