Personally I believe teams with good defenses are immune to trap games. The Chiefs may not score at all in this game.

KC should be embarrassed after yesterday but Baltimore is definitely better and playoff tested! KC is still 7-1 home and one of the loudest places to play in the league! I would take it now...prob be Balt -3 (-125) on Bodog by gametime! Public might be right on this one but I'm not a big Flacco fan!

I'm in as well but not making it my largest wager ever. First of all, Weiss situations has the Chiefs a bit disorganize. Secondly, KC is one of/ if not the loudest stadium in the NFL and it is a tough place to play in. Finally, Baltimore's secondary is suspicious. But, I believe Baltimore to be the more physical team and the better team and at -3 (Sportsbook), we have a good shot at it this one.

In my opinion Balt is by far the better team. They have one lose to Cinci at the begining of the year thay they should be embarrassed by but other than that they lost to NE (Future 2011 Super Bowl Champs) by only 3, they lost to Atlanta by 5, and they lost by 3 to Pitt which should have been a W. Those are all close games against great teams. KC lost 6 games this year. They lost two games to teams that had better than .500 record SD and INDY. The other four teams they lost to were all less than .500 Houston, Oakland twice, and the laughable Denver. KC is a joke and will get embarrassed in the first round. I will give them some credit KC can run the ball but Baltimore is great against the run. I dont see this game being close but I have been wrong several times before. GL with whatever you take.

Big chiefs fan here the ravens d is no were near a physical as the were 2 years ago i actually like a pumped up chiefs d at home over the ravens d and the chiefs secondary i like vs the ravens wrs boldin might give them some problems but if he lines up on the right side with flowers ill take flowers now rice scares me we gave up 150 yard to bush yesterday and the last time these two played we hung with them with are back up qb at the ravens and lots of these players never played in arrowhead in the winter its a crazy experience the chiefs will pull out the w but lose the next game there just not there yet

Remember a team is never as good or as bad as they looked their last game. Ravens look too easy but if I had to bet it would be on BAL.

Yes ya never know but you need to remember that Arizona had some great offensive weapons and were putting up points against everyone. KC's offensive has looked pretty pathetic at times this year.... they will want to run and Balt will not let them run. Cassel will need to play great to get this one done.

Their defense is good...but not what it once was. I would still consider them one of the best in the league, but it's not going to win them playoff games and a Super Bowl like in years past.

    2010-2011 Baltimore Ravens Defense Rankings

    Total Defense: #10

3rd Down Percentage: #18 (not so good)

    Penalties/Game: #2 (really no good)

Time of Possession/Game: #15 (middle of the road, play 6 games against running teams in AFC North)

BUT...in the end...this is what matters:

    Points Allowed/Game: #3

If Jamaal Charles can get going and Baltimore commits some penalties that allows KC to hang around...could be an "upset" at Arrowhead.

Based on stats from the SBR matchup

    Balt overall D is #3
    Balt road passing D #8
    Balt road rushing D #7

Baltimore will win this easily. Don't worry about it. There will be no upset.

Not sure what the SBR matchup means, as I'm more of a straight numbers kind of person. I personally like Baltimore as well, but not as my biggest play. I'm having a hard time believing that 3 of the 4 games will be won by the road team (NOR, GB, Balt), so something has to give. Goodluck on your play

Last three years this round is 2-2 home team wins vs road team. This year with under 500 Seattle, could be 2-1 with others winning on the road. KC is a tough place to play, but Cassel has not looked that good of late, and Charlie is on the way out.

Did KC even beat a team that is in the playoffs this year? (They actually did beat Seattle but I dont count them as a playoff team since they did not even have a .500 record) The more I look at this game the more I like it. I am now trying to find reasons to not like this bet but I can not find anything.

Teased the Chiefs to the Packers. I see the Ravens winning, but by no more then a touchdown. Flacco and that offense can put you to sleep, not explosive at all. Chiefs should be able to hang around in this one.

Last I checked 8-8 is better then less then .500. I'll double-check to be safe, though.

After many years of handicapping this is my advice. Red uniforms make teams seem weaker than they really are. Purple and black uniforms make teams appear stronger than they really are.

i doubt a single one of these players was on the last team to lose or any of those teams for that matter ...

ravens do seem quite easy but the public might get this one right ... Chiefs have proven to be good, clearly not as bad as they were in their last game but still ... if ravens play their a game they should win this game .. might as well just take the damn moneyline on the road ... too much weird shit has happened

KC matchup in this game much better than people think. That stadium will also be the loudest of the weekend (yes including Seattle).

I hope more of you bet BAL to move the line up for me.

Black/dark uniforms also incur more penalties. I forgot the study that published this, but it was interesting...
