    Aaron Brooks signs with Raiders

I think, based on physical gifts alone, that Aaron Brooks could be one of the top 10 QBs in the NFL. His problem is he makes too many stupid mistakes and has too many stretches where he looks like he doesn't care. Hopefully the change of scenery will do him good and he can get his game back. I think this is a good risk for the Raiders. They aren't really going anywhere anyway but if Brooks puts together a strong season they can push for the playoffs. If not they won't be any worse off than where they were.

Great signing Raider nation. Someone might want to tell Al Davis that if you put Brooks right back at Virginia for the 2006 season, he wouldn't even be 1st or 2nd team All ACC.

But on the positive side, the trailor park trash that is attracted to the Raiders will get to see his famous backwards pass when he is trouble. Of course, Moss will miss it because he'll be on the way to the locker room.

But, what a great way to build a team. Now bring in Vince and you are set at Quarterback for that the next 165 days until the weekend of September 2006. Great signing. New Orleans had to be a fool to let a gym like this walk.

This may be the only NFL team in history to have the top 2 quarterbacks on their depth chart scored a combined 12 on the wonderlic test. Go figure.
