    Its a good theory. And you would think the books are out for revenge this weekend. However, Im a big proponent of the regression towards the mean, and since so many dogs were covering the first half the of the season, perhaps the Favourites will continue to cover. Thoughts on that?

    I wouldn't do it if I didn't like the games.

    Can the Lions cover the 7 against New England? Sure. Pats were blown out in Cleveland, and their young D is still suspect.

    Can the Cowboys cover the 3.5 against the Saints? Of course. They're playing much better under Garrett, and it was never a question of talent.

    Can the Bears cover the 3 against Philly? I like what their D can do vs. Vick.

    Can the Bills cover the 6.5 against the Steelers? This team has a lot of heart, and is starting to play with confidence.

    Can the Cardinals cover the 1 against the Niners? Is this a trick question?

    Can the Seahawks cover the 1.5? Not particularly crazy about this one, but it's still Cassel on the road.
