And I don't mean Cincinnati chili, although I'd love some of that right now. I also love this for the week:
PARLAY (3 TEAMS)
Over 47½-110
(CINCINNATI vrs INDIANAPOLIS)
Over 45½-110
(DETROIT vrs BUFFALO)
Over 37½-110
(NY JETS vrs CLEVELAND)
Game 1--Indy is getting an advantage at home, where the head coach is 10-1, the Colts have won 5 straight, and they have Peyton. This one should probably round out at something more like 52 points, with the Colts putting down about 35 of them. ()
Game 2--Defenses win championships. And that's exactly why these teams are sitting at the bottoms of their divisions. The offensive squads aren't going to have much to look at today, and if Calvin Johnson and the replacement (Hill) connect, you're looking at a quick 14 points. If not, give Buffalo plenty of time of possession, and significant points. Buffalo keeps their streak alive, and loses 31-24.
Game 3--In my mind, a complete lock. Cleveland is coming off of a huge game against the Patriots, and look to repeat, while Rex Ryan has it out for his brother in this one. Take out the flop at Green Bay two weeks ago and the Jets are posting up nearly 30 points a game by themselves, and Cleveland has put up a total of 64 in the last two weeks (Patriots and NO, respectively.) This one goes 38-35, Jets in the closing seconds.
Let's cash.
