    Steelers will cover the 15.5

Big line to cover but Big Ben will destroy any doubts about who is one of the elite QBs in this watered down league. He may be the best qb and hasnt taken a snap yet.

coming off a bye week helps so I also think that they will cover, defense will shut down the terrible browns offense

It's a hell of a spread. And I'm not history buff but hasn't the browns really kept the steelers close in their past games?

Assuming McCoy starts (and it looks like he will), 13.5 is a gift. Take the Steelers on this one.

There's no value in this spread in my opinion. The Steelers are the best team in football but I think they'll be exactly 14 points better than Cleveland.

    Not touching it.

If McCoy goes for the Browns, that is 10 - 14 points right there just on mistakes. I like Pit in this spot. My only hesitation is if Roth comes out a little rusty from not playing this year and only gets FG's as opposed to TD's when in the redzone.

A small play on Pit -13 or less.

15.5 is a lot of point in pro ball, not saying they wont cover it but i would feel better with the browns +15.5. I can see a late TD after the game is already decided giving the browns a back door cover.

This line can be found at -13, but I still wouldn't touch it. Double digit spreads are the kiss of death most of the time. Having said that I can't see CLE scoring over 10 points unless they get some lucky breaks. CLE also doesn't have the offense to easily move the ball down the field in garbage time either. Having said all that, I brought PIT down in two teasers for more peace of mind.

The line on the game is 13 1/2 everywhere and I would be curious to know which place the OP found which has the line at 15 1/2.

I would recommend he take the Browns and the 15 1/2 and come back and take the Steelers -13 1/2 and go for the middle.

Keep looking. Multiple high profile books have it at -13.

    Risky play
Big Ben comes back after a bye where there was plenty of time to get some reps.
Cleveland coming off a loss and a little banged up and they are traveling to Pitt.
Pitt is a great team at home but 15.5 is a lot to ask. Cleveland can be hit or miss. I think the best chance you got is teasing it
Sure Cleveland is a shit team but they have been in a lot of games this year against decent teams and division Rivalry brings out the best in some teams.

Steelers roll in this game... Big Ben is 10-1 lifetime against the Browns..
The Browns are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 vs. AFC North.
The Browns are 8-1 ATS in their last 9 vs. AFC.
Cleveland is 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a S.U. loss.
Cleveland is 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games in October.
Cleveland is 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games as an underdog.
Cleveland is 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games overall.
The Steelers are 3-11 ATS in their last 14 games as a home favorite of 10.5 or greater.
The Steelers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. loss.
The Steelers are 1-5-1 ATS in their last 7 vs. AFC North.
They are 1-6 ATS vs. a team with a losing record.
They are 1-6-1 ATS in their last 8 games after accumulating less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game.

    Going against the trends here

With such high spreads like this you have to factor in the favored Defense vs the dog's offense and i just dont forsee the browns puttin up anything more than 13 at the veryyy most .. pretty sure Pitt will be in the 30s. Only hesitation is not knowing what colt mccoy can do .. this is by far the worst game to throw him in there for but change of qb's can bring about slop random td's and backdoor covers no matter whos playing. ... 6 and 10 pt teasers seem safe, but i do have more confidence in pitt covering this big spread as opposed to that joke of a -14.5 line that new england was given vs the bills this year.

I got the line at 13. With big ben back , and browns needing to play a rookie QB and hillis being banged up,
I have to go with pitt.
