1. Say you do play ML for each series. What happens if, say on the A bet you lose by 1 and 'officially' you should have taken the puckline (and would've won) even though the juice was ridiculous, do you keep chasing?

2. Is there any way to profit from playing the puckline using labby?

i've thought about changing strategies and playing pucklines. last night we got lucky with tampa winning in OT. but if we had played the +1.5 puckline, it would have been a lock after regulation. the problem is having to lay -250 to even -300 on a single bet. one thing to consider is playing a parlay when there is more than 1 play on a night. that would lower the odds. but then both teams would have to cover, and there would only be 1 unit gained on both teams. or you can just try to lay heavy juice using the labby lines. which is something else i haven't tried. so there are several options here.

what i can do is start tracking the system playing pucklines just to see how it would do. i am NOT going to actually play it though until it is tested.

I would stick to ML. El Capitan tracked both systems last year, and the ML system came out ahead. Yes, you had to go to B/C bets more often, but you weren't laying the kind of juice you are with the PL. And 1 C bet loss on the PL would seriously f\*\*k up your bankroll, especially when laying -200 odds on a PL.

that would be another option. i think even ML home favs have pretty high juice. not as bad as the puckline though.

also the NBA starts in a couple of weeks. that is much more accurate, and will probably bail out the nhl ML losses.

i think doublej95 hasthe right idea. playing HOME ML seems like the better system. the JM NHL system is designed for the road team to COVER not win.

Yes I went with the two home favorites and Florida cause it was the c bet and it worked out for me tonight. I think what I will do is probably fade unless it is a top team playing against bottom teams in the league

Example:
5-5-5-5 you would make 2 $10 bets

5-5-10-12 you would make a bet for $15 and one for $17

i've made a change to the NHL system. road ML plays pay off nice, but just don't produce enough wins. so basically i'm going to apply the RPI to decide whether to play the home or road team. when a team starts a road trip i will only play them if their RPI is .10 higher than their home opponent. st. louis has a B bet tonight. but dallas has equal RPI. so since st. louis already lost their A bet, I will skip this one.

meanwhile the ottawa senators start a road trip tonight in montreal. the canadiens have a higher RPI. so that is the play on the A bet

Yeh just stick to the system. Play the road teams even if there dogs. You might go to the B and C bet's a lot more, but if you do end up losing a C bet, it won't hurt the BR.

so instead of crossing off numbers on line2, what i did was chip away at the 62 on line 1. it came out to be another 17. i see the hurricanes are up 2-0 after the first period. we'll see if it holds up. maybe in some cases it's better to play the system blindly.

tomorrow the anaheim ducks start another road trip. of course they were the 1st play of the season and lost on the C bet. i'll have to decide whether or not to play them this time. they have won a couple at home and are playing a little better.
