Jets, Laveranues Coles negotiating a deal
SourceThe Jets and the representatives for unhappy wide receiver Laveranues Coles are close to hammering out a compromise in a contract stalemate that would result in the veteran reporting to the team's voluntary offseason workouts later this week or early next week, according to someone familiar with the ongoing negotiations.
That person spoke on the condition of anonymity because he's not authorized to speak publicly for the team.
The veteran culture on the Jets is going to hell. Coles isn't the only one unhappy about all the big contracts in free agency. Mofo is tough as nails, but damn man, his contract is probably more than he deserves. Also, not shocking he's being a baby about it... Last time he wanted more, the Skins way over-spent... And boy was he a big bust in Washington for all that cash.
