Buffalo Bills starters will see extended time against Redskins

New schemes, new system...and the fact that they haven't had a winning season since 2004 has the Buffalo Bills playing their starters an extended amount of time this evening against Washington. The Redskins, -3.5/-4 point home favorites, expect to play quarterback Rex Grossman for as much as two full quarters.


"I told our team to anticipate if you're a starter that you would play maybe a little bit longer than you would have in a normal situation because we're learning new schemes," said Gailey. "We have a new defense, new offense, new special teams. You might have to go a little bit longer so we can get a feel for each other."

I like the game to go under, but I respect your analysis. Prediction: WAS 13 BUF 10 in a snoozer. Both teams are beyond awful. Can't see Trent Edwards or Rex Grossman putting up any numbers. Plus I'm pretty sure that CJ Spiller (Bills only decent player) will get limited touches IF he even suits up in the first place.
