    Broncos @ Texans Discussion Thread.......

Would like to get some discussion going here..

Broncos have struggled on the road this season and I'm not overly impressed with them killing a deflated and already quitting Chiefs team.

Both teams are pretty even IMO. Would like some thoughts on this one..

    Thanks

Line is at -1.5 which surprises me a bit. Thought it'd be closer to 3.

Well Houston is -3 +100 at CRIS outdrawed. Too early for me to have an opinion, but once I do, make sure to fade my NFL plays!

Pinny has -1.5 (-104). I'd jump all over Denver +3 if I had more than 2 books...

this is a tough one for me to get a grip on. its down to a pick now. so denver is getting a lot of betting action, but WHY ?
its true denver is not a very good road team.and i have avoided
betting houston all season, but i think i'll give them a shot on this one. i may regret it, but hell i've lost before..

i'am not a professional "" know it all"" like some people are
BUT as close as these teams are and as bad as denver is on the road it only makes sense to
take houston at home.as long as it stays a pick.

    Texans are the sharp play.

Denver is the "sexy" pick with a few big scoring games. But they are still an "on again, off again" inconsistent team right now. Money on Denver is dead money. Texans are a more consistent, even if less dazzling team.

How about the Kubiak versus Shannahan angle? Does Kubiak have some wrinkles to throw a wrench into Shannahan's west coast scheme? I'd play the Kubiak angle if there's an angle there at all.

Line is at +1 at a couple places. Really hoping it moves to +1.5 so I can tease it to 7.5

    imgv,
For some reason I am not impressed with either of these teams. Seems to me that the public is strongly influenced by last weeks games, and that is reflected in the line. I personally like the under, and hope that the total continues to rise. I think that both Defenses, and both sketchy offenses, will keep this game to more FG's than TD's.

    My $.02.

Huh? You're backwards here. Both teams have shoddy defenses and average to above average offenses.

This game is just a dog. Two 6-7 teams that stink playing for a shot at the POs, which neither will likley make. LOL! Pass.

Under here. Very small play. I'd probably take Houston side if forced to choose.

Rosenfels isn't bad and Johnson, Daniels, Walter, Dre Davis are all pretty good receiving options. That said, we'll get Champ on Andre Johnson and Bly on Walter. That's rough going right there, though Johnson should be able to out-muscle Champ. Under is my play, but again, it's a small play due to me being an action junkie.

He didn't play last week either when they played Tampa bay and they won. Rosenfels had a good game. 27/36, 209 yards, 3 touchdowns, no interception.

This string of "sentences" is so illegible, I can't even decipher what this guy is trying to say. Are you saying there are only 2 qb's in the league better than Sage Rosenfels? Try hooked on phonics dude, it worked for me.

I think I posted somewhere else before but this is why I like Houston:

Denver doesnt look good on the road I think Denver is 1-5 ATS away while Houston is 4-2 at home ATS....the only team Denver really won SU away is to KC which they won again last week and to buffalo but that was 1 pt so anything favoring Denver I wouldnt touch.

Vegas lines I think opened Houston at -1.5 and now Houston is +2.5.......I just dont get it....got that on betonline +2.5

QB.....Rosenfelds started 2 times and I think has won both

Houston beat Tampa Bay a team I respect and been riding more than KC

Both have identical record and are going for wild card spot.....but more importantly man I think one more win for Houston will give them a franchise record for wins....I could be wrong

Houston hands down....but Good luck to everyone!.....If I'm wrong just correct me b/c I could of overlooked something....rough day trading so head still not straight

Houston actually opened -3. i am still not believing in sage you forget that the bucs defense was really banged up and the secondary really banged up! know fast foward he hit a lot of open wr last week it was not like he was picking the defense apart at all!! okay know look at denvers defense there corner backs are studs hands down and as soon as sage tries to test one of them with a little 10 out pattern either corner especially champ will sit on the route and take it for a pick 6!!! denver wins tonight everone is sleeping on the defense!!!!!

texas +1/2 1H think Texas at home is the play, Rosenfelds showed he could play against Tampa. Denver is very wishy washy + there on the road.
