Nov 25 Philly @ New Engalnd -25 or more

We may see the highest pointspread of all time in the NFL next week. I'm not sure what the highest was in history, but I think I recall -23 sometime ago.

Vegas is steamed about the "auto-play" of taking NE each week. My estimate might even be too low.

Absolutely no way this line gets anywhere near that. Philly is a half decent team. Can't see this one getting anywhere over 20, and will most likely fall in the 17ish range again.

Under normal circumstances I agree that 25 would be way too high. But the linesmakers are going to start to make sure that NE loses a few games ATS. They have been getting slaughtered. Also just look at the line for tonight against the Bills. Buffalo is a decent team from most perspectives, and they are catching +16 at home?

I don't think my estimate is high. I would be very willing to bet it will be 21.5 or higher FOR SURE.

if its 17 again next week with NE at home against the crappy Eagles, all betters should unite and put at least $100 on NE and put vegas out of business....who's with me?

If it is -17, I would put the house on that line. They will win by at least 21 against the awful Eagles!!

scoresandodds.com in small print under game.

Read awhile back they said the linesmakers were afraid to give too many points. The Miami game should have been 26 by their thinking but they are afraid of some wise guys loading up on the dog. It seems like they will never let it go above 16.5 or 17.

If McNabb is not playing it should be -24 or more. They could easily cover that the way they are playing.

right now it looks like the line will be 20 or 20.5 until it gets hit. The highest line I can recall is 49ers -26 Bengals. 49ers won 26-21 if memory serves.

AJ Feeley, he came in today to replace McNabb. Kevin Kolb, the kid they just drafted was inactive for today's game.

    A quote from a recent article :

Sports bettor RJ Bell, who runs a betting Web site, said his research shows that the biggest point spread since 1980 came in 1993 when San Francisco was a 23-point favorite over Cincinnati, a game the 49ers won just 21-8. During that time, there have been only five games with a point spread of more than 20 points.

You could be putting your kids through College on these guys this year maybe a good college if you have been taking Kansas in NCAA. I cant get enough of belecheck up 28 points 4th and 1 going for it while Buffalo is playing safe and punting.

As I commented in another post, I'm taking NE minus up to and including 23.5 against the Eagles. Belichick is a machine coaching people. He betrays a mild schizoidal psychopathy in his personality structure.

A very interesting excerpt from Andrew Lobaczewski's Political Ponerology: A Science on the Nature of Evil Adjusted for Political Purposes....

"Carriers of this anomaly are hypersensitive and distrustful, while, at the same time, pay little attention to the feelings of others....They are eager to retaliate for minor offenses....Sometimes they are eccentric and odd....The common factor in the varieties of this anomaly is a dull pallor of emotion and lack of feeling for the psychological realities....Low emotional pressure enables them to develop proper speculative reasoning, which is useful in non-humanistic spheres of activity, but because of their one-sidedness, they tend to consider themselves intellectually superior to "ordinary" people....

Now, I ain't gonna just come out and flat say that the guy is a "schizo", but man something smells fishy there. The dude is out to prove everybody wrong, (that he didn't cheat his way to being a winner). He patiently created a football machine, designed to totally dominate the "competition". His personality isn't going to allow him to show any mercy for his opponent. To the extent that his team is efficient and powerful enough, he will attempt to crush the other 31 teams in the NFL as "the enemy" to be conquered, as a sort of proof of his "superior intellect" that he may feel as a consequence of his schizoidal make-up.

Bottom line is, he going to aid many a bettor in covering as a by-product of his very personality. At least, maybe for a while until Vegas catches up. And maybe we should just enjoy it while it lasts.

    Thats one view....

LOL to you guys hoping for -17. Looks like I was spot-on this pointspread last Sunday. It will go to 25 or higher by gametime. This team is ridiculous and the linesmakers HAVE TO break the momentum of them covering.

**** Philly. Who says they are a decent team? They will look completely lost today against this NE team.

I still say lay the record points and sit back and enjoy.

I love Belecek for his style of ripping their hearts out. He's a competitor. I spit on any fan, player, or coach that bitches and whines because NE is physically and mentally knocking the snot out of their opponents. They are that good and they should pile it on. It's your job as a PRO to stop them.

FYI, the casino sportsbook in Las Vegas currently has New England favored by -25.0 against Philadelphia.
