Teasing thru the 3,7,and10
Well, the mo fos must have read my post about teasing thru the 3 and 7 because they moved the line on Seattle to -10, so I am going to tease thru the 3,7, and 10. Here are my picks:
Seattle -10 teased to Seattle +3
Detroit +1 teased to +14
New Orleans -11 1/2 teased to +1 1/2
New York Giants +1 teased to +14

Bodog has a 4 team sweetheart teaser (13 points) that is usually (-110) ...but Bodog sucks.
usually a 13 pt 4 teamer is -110 or -120 and if you get a tie some places thats a loss. looks like u got +165 and a tie doesnt hurt you. a friend of mine plays these every year until he loses his bankroll which lasted him about 3 weeks this year. he couldnt resist taking the points against the patriots. i play more like you- bet against the bad teams-(except for your giants bet)
I'm not sure if ties hurt or not. I could not find anything specific about teasers at the bigjuicyodds site. Here is what they do say: "Big Juicy Odds uses Las Vegas rules, regulations, payoffs and wager types". What are Las Vegas rules with teasers?

If so, if we go with the strategy "bet against bad teams", we would use these teams:
Washington -3 to +10 vs Philly
Carolina -4 to +11 vs Atlanta
New Orleans -11 1/2 to +1 1/2 vs St Louis
Buffalo -3 to +10 vs Miami
Cincinatti +4 to +17 vs Baltimore
Detroit +1 1/2 to +14 1/2 vs Arizona

Then what's the point of teasing +3 to +10, or -10 to -3. You'll could lose the bet in some cases, or face a no action situation. Buy the extra 1/2 point!

Not a big teaser guy, but I like to throw one in every now and then. Looking at this possibility:
Pitt -3 over Cleveland
Seattle -3 over SF
Minnesota +13 over GB
Detroit +8 over Arizona
Pays 2 to 1
Pitt and Seattle should handle those games fairly easily, though a push on one off those wouldn't surprise me too much.
I think GB will win, but they haven't shown any ability to blow teams out, especially half-decent ones like the Vikes. Same goes for Arizona. That game should come right down to the wire.

Looks good to me, but NO is a lock against STL even without the points teaser. I'd add that to it and take it up a notch.
Those winless teams scare me a little bit. The Rams seem like they're rounding into a bit better shape. The O-line is still a disaster but other parts of their game seem to be slightly improving. Throw in the fact that they're coming off a bye and not sure I want to take them. The Saints have looked excellent lately, and it's hard to imagine them reverting back all of a sudden, but Brees is very capable of throwing picks.

Oakland is a bad team, Chicago is a bad team. I would not bet either unless I got about 15 points.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but a 4-game teaser loses if any of the plays push. You've got 1 game at +3, and 2 at +14, all three of which are very key numbers and could cause your entire bet to lose. Not a very advantageous teaser imo. Good luck though.
ties don't lose, they are just squashed causing a 4 team teaser to turn into a 3 teamer.
Better check your Book as not all of them are like this
IMO, teasing through the 10 or 14 are of minimal value. If you're getting 13 points, tease THROUGH both 3's and a 7 instead. Don't just tease TO a 3, either. Tease THROUGH it. Lots of games land on a 3, why give it up, even halfway?
So, in the spirit of this thread, I put together this 3-team 10-point teaser laying -130. I have no idea if it's a good bet or not.
GB +4, KC +7, Ten +5.5
I've never played this kind of teaser, but we'll see what happens. Maybe I'll get motivated to do some more research.
