    Anyone watching this Tennessee/Houston game?

What a wild finish this one has been down the stretch.

Great job by Collins driving from his own 20 with 57 seconds left to set up the winning FG. Made two great throws, but the first was dropped before the long one was completed.

    Pickem Situation Betting

I, too, had chalked up this as a victory but got scared with less than a minute left. I had bet 330 to win 300 on Tennessee -1. I made this bet Saturday night and I felt like the line was not going to move. In the morning, I checked the spread and hit jumped to Tennessee +2. I wish I had waited til the morning and would have taken either the points or gone on the ML. Sometimes being patient to place the bet right before game time is wise. I still felt confident before the game that Tennessee was going to the control this game from start to finish. They should have scored a bunch of touchdowns and this game should not have been as close as it was. The sportsbooks overreact as the line was jumping on this game. I have seen similar games as this where the line opens near pickem. On the day of the game, the spread moves on the home team (Houston was favored by 2). I have seen this many times and the road team ends up blowing out the home team. This game was a blowout for three quarters and suddenly Tennessee had lapse on defense. We all should analyze these point spread changes near pickem situations. Another game, a few weeks ago, was UCLA was playing at Oregon St. The spread opened as UCLA as a one point favorite and the spread moved on game day to Oregon St -3. UCLA ended up blowing out ORegon State 40-14 and I had UCLA on the moneyline which was real value for me. Another reason this happens is that the sportsbooks try hard to confuse the betting public. When I was younger I would get scared of spread changes and stay away from that particular game. Now I jump all over spread changes with pickem situations. I have researched and this method hits about 90% of the time. Lets beat the sportbooks and the oddsmaker at their own game of changing spreads. So lets go into this weekend and analyze pickem bets.
