I was impressed with the Bears defense. It appears that all the pieces are back in place after last seasons injuries. The offense is another story however.

Can't leave out the Colts JJ. Everyone figured they'd bust against the Saints, their defense wasn't the same, blah blah. They didn't only win, they stomped a team that many are picking to represent the NFC in the superbowl and held Brees to next to nothing. The Pats looked great too, but it was against the Jets, don't think anyone is picking them anywhere.

Yes I did forget about Indy

Bears can't score, they will never be a factor unless Griese takes the helm and Benson removed from starting lineup. Cedric is a 3 yard per carry guy only.

I'd add Bengals to that list. I was impressed with both sides of the ball. They played a very good physical defensive team and were able to get the ball to #85. I see them having a playoff run this year.

I say that Indy, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, and New England all impressed me this opening week. I do see that New England was basically cheating but I still think they would have won anyways. The ones that disappointed me was the St. Louis Rams and Philly.

New England - Their line gave Brady all time to throw.
Indy - Offense does not miss a beat and D looked good
Carolina - Disappointed last year and looks to be back maybe this year.

I dont think Minny has proved anything yet the Falcons are one of the worst teams in the league if not the worst.

Agree with all except Pitt - I don't think Cleveland was much of a test.

I say that and pray I don't eat my words by my boys going up there this weekend and struggling... or God forbid losing!

With all the tunovers Cincy caused early in that game, Baltimore should of had no chance to force OT at the end.

Tend to agree, however there were a few mitigating factors:

    - Baltimore has a great defense
    - Cincy's offense wasn't clicking - partly due to the first point, but also Palmer seemed to be a little out of synch
    - Cincy's FG kicker got hurt
    - Ed Reed's punt return hurt

However after Reed's punt return and then being down 1 point was unbelievable given the number of turnovers Cincy had benefited from at that point.

    How about my Packers Defense?

I know the Offense looked pathetic, but the D was very nice.

Yeah all that might be true, but at the end of the day, the Bengals forced 6 turnovers and had to make a goal line stand to avoid OT. When you get 6 turnovers you're supposed to bury people.

The same could be said about the chargers/bears game. I didn't see the chargers bury the bears. I think it's a testament to just how good the ravens defense is and how the were able to change it up and keep the bengals confused.

Colts and especially Baltimore.............I know B-more might sound crazy but like those guys said above, they turned the ball over 6 times and still made it a very close game. That's unheard of in the NFL. I see them going 12-4 (if they fix the turnover problem - which they will).
