imgv94 NFL Plays for WEEK ONE............

    2006 PRESEASON YTD: 13-3 +14.44 Units
    2006 REG. SEASON YTD: 84-65 +17.44 Units
    2006 OVERALL YTD: 97-69 +31.88 Units

    2007 Preseason YTD: 12-4 +6.40 Units

Well the NFL season is here and I'm thrilled about it. NFL is not only my favorite sport but the one I feel most comfortable and confident with.

I'm going to try to do a couple of things different this season.

First I'd like to wager less teasers
Secondly I'd like to put more units on my top plays.

I was looking back at the last two seasons and if I would of practiced this procedures I would of made a lot more coin.

Well nonetheless let's have a lot of fun this season, as this is the most wonderful time of the year . How did we maintain without football??

    2* HOUSTON -2
    2* HOUSTON -1
    1* HOUSTON +1

Texans are an improving team playing a KC team who IMO is on the decline . I never mind playing against the Chiefs on the road considering they have such a home field advantage at Arrowhead.

So this is a combination of ANTI - KC and PRO Houston ..

Houston is improved in many positions most notably QB and OL..

    GO TEXANS!!!

Will post my other plays later in the week..

    GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!

Hey Imgv - Texans seem like a sexy pick. I havn't done my work entirely yet for the week, so GL on this one. I'm cheering for the Texans since my boy Ahman Green is down there now.
I havn't seen enough of Shaub to get on the wagon, though. You already know what you're getting with KC - however, KC's OLine is in MAJOR decline and hasn't done jack all preseason nor have they given me a reason to say 'they can win ball games'.

Texans sure are scrappy and improving. My gut agrees on the play, but I still have a lot left to watch before I get into the nitty gritty.

GL on your pick and I hope you get er done this season, baby.

You now my stands on week 1 of the NFL. But I will need to look at the games, since I am playing a local NFL contest.

    Good luck IMG.

    Let's do this Shrax.

    ADDING:

    1* OAKLAND -1.5

Raiders have the better defense and home field. Lions have been awful on the road the last few seasons and I don't see how Calvin Johnson is going to help with that. Raiders defense kept them in a lot of games last season and I see no reason why they shouldn't keep it close here.

Raiders aren't that bad, I see them improving immensely this season..

Taking the improved AFC team @ home vs a NFC Lions team that has won only 25% of their games since 2001 and on the road in the black hole..

I'm going to start posting my leans before others do so I can look original for once. Already locked in Oakland, I think Culpepper > Kitna and Oakland D >>>>> Lions D.

Also a play on Carolina and the Steelers.

If the Raiders name Culpepper as the starter, then I like them. Their defense is solid and need some more from their offense this year. Good luck img!

Damn IMG. I will have to be rooting against as a fan, but if the Lions are to lose, at least you make some loot.

Have the raiders named Culpepper the week 1 starter? I also like the Houston play but it just make me nervous saying I love Houston this week.

I like the lions here boys...Kitna promised a 10 game win season (not happeneing) but for the season opener he has given a huge momentum boost and i think that Detroit will win by a FG.

Also, Culpepper isnt starting its McCowan or whatever, he was awful in 5 seasons with Arizona so dont expect much

I get that Detroit has been terrible on the road.

I get that Oakland has a good defense.

But I just don't see how you can get behind a team that hasn't named a starting QB for the season's opener and it's Wednesday...

I'm not playing this game. So, good luck to all.

I'd take Wash -2.5 if it comes about. Teams seem evenly matched and Wash home field might be the difference.

    Well Texans won

    So far 1-2 +3.35 Units

Horrible luck in the Jags game..

Hope people learned their lesson on not betting teams cause it seems everyone is on it.. Those plays win just as much as any.

I have a $100 bet on SD ML with a friend at work. Of course I won't count it on my record or anything just thought I'd mention it.

What odds did you lay? If you got SD at even money, wtg!

I'm watching the SD game, and there's no dispute about the talent on this team. But, as far as winning the Super Bowl, Norv will find a way to screw it up.

Nice job on the Texans pick.

1:54 before the half, how gross was that Grossman pick?
