Where will Lamar Jackson play this season?

    Vikings?

Will Lamar Jackson be playing in Baltimore this year?

No team has placed an offer for Lamar Jackson since the Ravens hit him with the non-exclusive franchise tag, but one team is now emerging as a contender to sign him.

Though the Minnesota Vikings seemed to have committed to quarterback Kirk Cousins for the 2023 season when they restructured his contract earlier in the offseason, we now have a new report that indicates they might be n the running for Jackson.

“And even a wild card like Minnesota. Kirk Cousins has one year left on his contract if they want to reestablish their identity there,” ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported on SportsCenter.

Is Rodgers going to the jets, if not I would have thought they might be interested but I guess not!

Why wouldn't NE take a shot now? Belichick only has a couple years left to coach, so who cares if the Pats have to eat a bad contract in a couple years. Right now, they are clearly 4th best in the division. Get Jackson, and they can at least compete.

He's more suited for the CFL. I doubt anyone is going to give him $40M+ per year.

I heard the sticking point is the guaranteed money. He wants Deshaun Watson money but fully guaranteed. Someone will sign him and just don't let it be New England. Finally Miami has a good team and now Rodgers is in the division along with Allen.

Colts make a lot of sense. Many teams may have been waiting until after the draft so they won't have to give up this year's picks

Ravens probably finish dead last in AFC North without Jackson

Colts, Falcons, Redskins, Patriots, Titans should all be in on him.

Baltimore officered him a nice deal, not insulting at all.
Baltimore pretty much told him, "we like you, we like you a lot, we want you... but we're not going to give you 100 percent guaranteed, we don't care about Watson"

Its going to be the Ravens or nothing. There is no team out there willing to pay him all of that Guaranteed Money plus give up two first round draft picks.

Of of the most overrated QBs of all time...dudes won 1 stinking play-off game that the defense had to bail the team out, is often injured, and makes some alarmingly bad decisions. Sick of the no-news news just GTF away man. Nobody wants you or cares.
Hope he sits out so we watch one less half-assed QB throughout the season.

Why would anybody want a QB that quit on his team? The cap ratio is berserk. So hard, to fit the other players under the cap.

Ravens. Hes just embarrassing himself at this point. Lets face it the guy wants a guaranteed deal that he doesnt deserve, no one wants him as a qb because you have to completely change the offense to make him slightly effective. And he doesnt have the abililty to will a team to victory. Get ready because hes going to have to tuck his tail between his legs and come crawling back to the only team that wants him

    Ya, fuk him. He quit.

Guy ruined his stay with the Ravens. And he priced himself out. No bidders.

He needs to sign an agent but he is too stubborn, has dug his heels in at this point and refuses to listen to anyone else's advice.

The past 2 seasons, he has not been available the last month or so of the season and playoffs.

Colts. They need a QB. It fits their system. Try a new QB every year until something sticks.

He is too weak and too pricey for a RB. Everything more than the minimum contract is a crime.

True. Quarterbacks that are compared to runningbacks never win super bowls: Lamar Jackson, Tim Tebow, Justin Fields, Michael Vick etc..

you guys all know you would rather have Jackson than let's say Prescott or Heinicke or Mac Jones

RPO is good the guy can fly when he's healthy

Guy has too much baggage. Nobody will sign him.

Lamar will play in CFL for Toronto Argonauts. Has to work his way back up to the Majors.
