    lol.

Solid race for him. He got out of the blocks much, much faster than I though he would.
If anything else that's a REALLY BIG BOY that can run his ass off with the best and hang. That's something to be said. I'm impressed..

If he only trained track for a year and got a legit track coach and got out of football he might do something special in this sport.

Unfortunately track doesn't pay as well as the NFL so we won't see it.

and those are NOT the best

let's be clear what DK did was good considering the circumstances

but his time, would have been beaten by a good few HS sprinters

There was a head wind in this race slowed all runners down. ..

Disagree Chi, fatso farted and blew a down wind which slowed down runners behind him and which also thrust him to victory. You missed this Chi. Physics man!!

It depends on the person. Usain Bolt makes $20 million a year as a retired track athlete. You won't find many retired football players making that. The top 10 sprinters in the world are all making more than the $1 million a year DK just signed on his contract. Can he be a top 10 sprinter? Probably not. He might be better off running while remaining and NFL player. That's the allure and you can bet shoe companies would pay big bucks for his notoriety. Track and field athlete for the most part get paid peanuts. It's not a career you go into for the money. But the elite, that's a different story. Those few people can do quite well.

Don't forget the brain damage from concussions. Track athletes don't have to worry about these after they retire.

Very true. Much longer longevity for the average athlete. NFL - Not for Long. Metcalf will have to wait another 2 to 3 years before he can reup his current contract which is pretty low. He has to stay healthy until then.

    KVB

or anyone.... an opportunity to make that $ back

I can offer a prop. NO NFL PLAYER to make the 2021 USA OLYMPIC TEAM -200

I'll take the affirmative that an NFL player does make the team. if you take this bet you win if no nfl player makes it

100 Meter final is tonight at or after 9pm on NBC
